New Description:
Turns out, using the Terminal to execute Simple Planes with the .spmod file as an argument actually works, when I tried it for the first time, I had Linux Mint, but instead of the Xcfe edition it was the Cinnamon edition. And for some reason in that Mint edition that method didn't work.
Old Description:
My Linux Distro is Linux Mint 22.2 "Zara" Xcfe, I have the game installed from somewhere else that isn't Steam so I can't use the Steam Workshop to install mods.
I have tried making the folder "Mods" and putting the files on that folder, but it doesn't seem to do anything.
I also tried executing the game using the .spmod file as argument throught the Terminal, but this made the game start with the default settings, and do nothing related to the mod installation
Please help, I don't want to give my data to Microsoft, I refuse to use Windows to run this game.
@unifiedSD thx
@Pnut I have no idea what is Lutris, I am using the latest version of Vanilla Wine, and I installed it on a custom folder I made on my user folders called "Games", althought, I used to have the game on "Downloads" when I first made this post.
@Object775blyat You go to the forums, you press "New Post", select a category, write a title and description, then submit. It's that simple.. like a plane lol (pun intended)
@HuskyDynamics01 Thanks for telling me this, it actually worked. Now I need to figure out how to download mods.
no idea, but how do u make forums?
Also yeah windows sucks n now I'm getting firmware bugs just because I touched le registry
Lutris? Vanilla wine? Where did you install it on? Maybe look for some "fake" Directories that resembles windows directory
Not sure on mods, but you should be able to copy the aircraft URL from the website and then hit Ctrl+L in the designer to download it there.
