Soo, I'm trying to make a custom vertical stabiliser in Sp using fuselage peices, and even though I added an actual vertical stabiliser inside the custom rudder, the aircraft yaws uncontrollably to the left or right, making the aircraft very difficult to control.
Is there a way to stop the uncontrollable yawing without changing the custom fuselage rudder? Thanks!
@Whaletail2012 tell ya what let me take a look at it. post it as unlisted and tag me.
@StockPlanesRemastered possibly...
@Whaletail2012 Then you might not have enough stab area.
@StockPlanesRemastered I made it so I only used one vertical stabiliser, but the aircraft is still pretty uncontrollable
@BOSSentinel oh ok
@Whaletail2012 but on the plane.
@Whaletail2012 like that.
@Whaletail2012 copy my name, and put @ in front of it.
@StockPlanesRemastered the wing is pretty small.
I think I actually have two wings, I'll try to reduce it to one
@BOSSentinel how do I tag you?
Sorry, I'm a bit of a beginner.
How big is the wing? Also if you have two wings, one for the stab and one for the rudder, it will tend to do weird things
@ me on it.
@hpgbproductions no, it's not that, the airfoil is symmetric and the aircraft is still really unstable
@hpgbproductions ok, I'll check it now...
Check that the wing in the vertical stabilizer has a symmetric airfoil, otherwise idk
@Randomplayer I used fuselage to shape the vertical stabiliser, and put an actual wing inside that fuselage.
Soooo, both I guess
Are you just using fuselage of wings?
