This topic has been talked about numerous times on the site, but there are some people who still do it. And this time, it's not so much forums calling people out, but comments on builds that have nothing to do with the situation. The reason why they do it is beyond me but anyways, here we go.
Stop calling people out publicly, whether that's because they did something to offend you or you just don't like them. Even if it's a troll, you should report and move on, and if that doesn't work, tag the moderators in a private unlisted post and fill them in on the issue, or if possible, DM on Discord. I know from first hand experience that trolls and shitty people feed off of attention. It's like a drug for them. So best not give them that attention. Also, please don't spam tag moderators when something happens, because it not only clogs comment section designated for discussion, but it irritates everyone else. The only logical time you would call someone out is when actual crimes are involved, for example, they are guilty of doxing multiple people, to let people know to change passwords and such, but I doubt anyone's getting doxed on a website about aircraft. Even then, it's a 50/50 on if you should actually call them out because you could get involved.
Also, if you see a drama-inducing post, don't engage, just ignore or report it. Get them banned quickly as possible to avoid any drama, because it annoys everyone.
P.S, there's a thing called blocking and logging off :)
Thanks for reading. If you have anything to add on to or criticize, go ahead.
