WeltNet: Himler’s Grand Vision for a Connected Jerry
Exclusive Network Ushers in New Era of Knowledge, Governance, and National Pride
Berlien, No-see Jerry – In a monumental address from the Ministry of Advancement, Chancellor Adult Himler unveiled the ambitious WeltNet initiative this week, a national technological effort to link institutions, scholars, and state functions across No-see Jerry via a sophisticated digital network. The project, which began quietly in early 1946, has now entered full development and is poised to transform Jerry society.
Technological Pillars of WeltNet
At the core of WeltNet lies a redesigned modular computing engine inspired by the Z3 machine, now reimagined as the Zentrumrechner, urban mainframes stationed in key cities. These computing giants are connected through a network of coaxial cables and encrypted radio waves, ensuring uninterrupted communication between urban centers and remote districts.
Access to this system is facilitated through TerminaLink terminals: electro-mechanical typing stations installed at universities, libraries, and government offices. Through these terminals, users can retrieve data, pose queries, and access information stored in centralized databases.
A national programming language known as GeistCode has been developed to power this ecosystem, streamlined and logical, it enables automatic communication between institutions and real-time database queries.
WeltNet Integration Across Society
The National Research Institute now houses the master servers containing critical knowledge on science, law, agriculture, and culture. Elite schools and universities act as hubs, allowing scholars to retrieve research, educational materials, and even engage in primitive machine-assisted Q&A sessions.
Government ministries have been linked for the first time in history, coordinating policy and logistics across the nation with unprecedented speed. Private industry now reports real-time production and distribution data, enabling rapid economic planning and allocation.
A Boon for the Jerry People
The public response has been overwhelmingly positive. Farmers receive live updates on weather and crop strategies. Medical clinics in small towns access health data. Students in rural villages now study the same materials as those in Berlien’s elite academies.
Government decisions are more efficient and better informed. Above all, the populace feels pride: WeltNet has become a shining emblem of Jerry modernity.
Concerns Arise: A Cautious Optimism
Yet, even in an era of progress, some voices remain vigilant. Critics warn that WeltNet’s centralized nature could invite state control over information, risking censorship or propaganda under future regimes.
Eyes on the Future: The WeltNet of the 1950s
Chancellor Himler’s office has revealed plans for WeltNet 2.0, featuring rudimentary graphical displays and voice input, a move that could revolutionize the way citizens interact with machines.
There are also whispers of extending WeltNet’s reach to friendly nations such as the Republic of Spin, Your-Pan or even spread to entire planet, laying the foundation for international digital education platforms.
As one technician at the Berlien Terminal Institute proudly proclaimed, “This is not merely the future of Jerry... it is the future of mankind.”

@RB107
Darn it!
@THEOKPILOT Not yet but i sure it can run THIS
But can it run Doom?
Unfortunately I should missed a lot of stuff in KE-RP business. But my nation still developing following the plot
@DeeganWithABazooka yup
@B1BLancer Hey, At least we can rebuild.
We can't rebuild all of the lives lost though...
@DeeganWithABazooka ohh my bad. Lemongrad gone 😿
@B1BLancer Look at the part with all the places that the insurgents nuked.
@DeeganWithABazooka what about it
@B1BLancer Uhmmm...
@RB107 awesome, thank you
@DeeganWithABazooka what happened to lemon grad…?
@B1BLancer @DeeganWithABazooka yes of course! Construction is underway! It will finished in about 1950s if there is no damage on the system
Can we also have this connected to Doscow, Jalingrad, Key-Yeah-V, Lemongrad (Once its rebuilt), and Meh-Sk
I am really interested in this concept, can we connect these cables to my cities of Brest, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Zaragoza, Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, Seville, Valencia, and Santiago?
Technically in jerran it would be "WéldNæt"
