LF-45

Greetings, the LF-45 has been delayed due to the project requiring lots of unexpected updating. This project has been running for nearly 2 years now, and my skill has greatly improved over that time, which has made me delay the project until requirements are met.

Wings dimensions changed
Control surfaces designed
Control surfaces added
Lift issues identified
Detail to engine outlets
Detail to engine inlets
APU and exhaust cosmetic features added
Landing Gear improved

To do

Wing and lift surfaces need re-defining
Control surface issues need fixing
Flight model improvements
Engine inlets
Engine outlets
Landing gear requires greater detail
VR cockpit needs designing and implementing
Testing needs to be complete
More may be added when required

For those who are wondering, part count is 200+ now and expected to rise to 400-500+.
And test pilots will be selected when the time comes.

F-111C

The F-111 hasn’t seen lots of development over the past few months, part count is pushing 100 (by memory). There are lots which need doing, and there are 2 paths I can take with the level of detail which I implement, but I will release more information later when the aircraft has more features.

YLF-60T

This is an aircraft which I am still yet to confirm, It will most likely come later in the year, possibly even around Christmas. It will take a while to make because the tandem-seat cockpit hasn’t been fully designed yet. More information will be released when design is complete.

Guess the project answer

The answer was…

The F/A-18
More specifically, probably the F-17 prototype version. I don’t see myself making a VR cockpit for this aircraft, since it is just an excuse to keep gaining points in the ‘quiet time’ between posts. The details won’t be spectacular, unless I want to really cook.

Golden Age video

I stated in a post long ago making a video of a compilation of images of milestones which I have achieved. I will try to get this done as soon as possible. So be on the lookout for that (another reason to subscribe)

GLAD Challenge

The challenge ends in a few months, I hope that the reason why posts are taking a long time is due to HIGH DETAIL. I’ll send out a forum when there is only 1 month to go.

PMC is still in-the-works. More info will be released after the GLAD challenge is complete.
