Skeletá Technologies: Calvin Skeletá

I'm going to get the obvious out of the way, Skeletá as a name came to me when the Ghost album dropped yesterday. However, the Skeletá-Umbra HQ119X was not me shamelessly reusing something literally a post later. There's actually a story behind it that I have been slowly making in my head.

Born in 1970, Calvin Skeletá was a member of the Exeron Air Self Defense Force, where he became an esteemed pilot in the JS-31. His early life was riddled with familial tragedies. His grandfather passed due to a heart attack when he was 6, and Calvin's parents were killed at a gas station during the opening shots of the Lexington Revolution when he was 14. Living with his grandmother, Calvin set out to avenge his parents and joined the ESADF as soon as he hit 18. Passing through training with flying colors, he managed to be put on the JS-31 - an aircraft commonly assigned to veteran aviators - while still a Private.

Returning home with a confirmed kill count of 11, he was forced into retirement in 1992 due to injuries relating to being shot down. After his grandmother bestowed upon him what little was left of the family's wealth, Calvin started his company: Skeletá Technologies. Skeletá saw a few offerings come up, none of which succeeded, until Prighoznyya approached him asking for help in the JS-31 Modernization project. Being the sole designer, Prigozhnyya opted to name the new variant after him, and thus, the JS-31C Skeletá was created.

Skeletá saw many more successes after this, especially the adoption of the HQ119. When Skeletá passed away in 2003 due to a car accident, Exeron's Secretary General had a statue erected in Corporate Square of Rattenheim, depicting Skeletá tossing a model JS-31C to demonstrate its aerodynamics. Sadly, Calvin's bloodline ended with him. However, the company was transferred to his niece, who he had to take care of since his aunt's passing. His niece, Jane Bone, kept the company under the Skeletá family name, even donning it herself, as a tribute to her late uncle.

Whenever I learn how, I will include the company logo and a depiction of the statue in this post.

Also to note, it isn't mentioned in the actual upper part, but when Calvin rejected from his JS-31, he failed to assume the "eject position" (hunching into a kinda cannonball in the seat) and sustained severe injuries to his legs, specifically: He ripped his left leg off from the knee down and had scraped his right leg on the cockpit to such an extent that parts of his femur and knee were visible.

What happened in the car accident: Calvin was on an adventure to the local Tesco and happened to stumble into an intersection and passed through as he saw the green light. However, at the same time, a semi carrying a large load of milk jugs happened to have an incident with the accelerator pedal and physically could not stop the semi. The semi ended up hitting Calvin's Honda Civic from the left side at around 72MPH. However, Calvin did not pass due to this, Calvin passed the following day after falling down a flight of stairs in the hospital. Specifically: Calvin had to have his little peg leg removed so they could do work on his left leg, which sustained a lot of injuries in the accident. When Calvin woke up, he was incredibly confused and decided to go find a doctor, and after not finding any in the immediate area of the ICU, he tried hopping down the stairs and failed horrifically. An autopsy conducted later on concluded he had passed only after falling down 18 levels.
