FLIGHT CONTROL UPDATE REGARDING THE BOEING 777-200ER / 777-200LR / 777-200(LR)F / 777-300ER
An update of the flight control systems is available for all of my Boeing 777-family aircraft.
This update ensures that unwanted yawning of the aircraft during a roll, will be dampened.
The following highlighted part requires an update:
The following update shall be done:
“Input= Yaw” shall be changed to: “input= Yaw + Yaw=0 ? 0.05 * YawRate: Yaw“
END OF FLIGHT CONTROL UPDATE BULLETIN
@CSTIJN i’ve never actually heard of it. the only other places i’ve been other than my home province are PEI and Massachussets, Maine and New Hampshire.
also, i gtg, sorry ;-;
So have you have ever been to Ottowa or heard about the Ottowa tulip festival? @keiyronelleavgeek566
@keiyronelleavgeek566 I might have a little fact for you (you probably already know it tho, but I don’t know for sure if you guys are taught this)
It is such a shame that the role of Canada is sometimes overlooked by people
@keiyronelleavgeek566 we Dutchies are still really greatfull for the actions of Canadians and the Canadian government during the war.
Dutch people also really like Canadian folks.
@keiyronelleavgeek566 alright
@CSTIJN i’d like an air canada one.
@keiyronelleavgeek566 I was thinking about publishing a Canadian livery on the 6th of May to pay tribute to Canada’s role in liberating the Netherlands in WW2, how would you feel about an Air Canada livery?
(Liberation day is may 5th however the upload schedule is already at 3 planes for that day)
@BaconEggs Previously the aircraft started slipping during every roll due to the fact that I recreated that the spoilers go up during rolling, the yaw input should dampen it a bit.
It’s something that can also be noticed on the real 777 (especially the 777-300ER) where you might feel the yaw inputs to stabilize the aircraft, if you are seated in the back of the aircraft.
Also, what a pleasant surprise to see you here
using yaw rate is OK when you're wings level but as soon as you start a turn it will input rudder opposite the direction you're going and slip the whole airplane
@keiyronelleavgeek566 fair
@CSTIJN lol, i don't like sharp weird $3,000 cheese, but normal shredded cheese is fine
@keiyronelleavgeek566 yeh, it’s okay on pizza and stuff and mozzarella is also good but like standard cheese is not my cup of tea at all.
@CSTIJN YOU DON'T LIKE CHEESE??????!?!?!?!?
also ice skating is overrated ngl
@keiyronelleavgeek566 I think that my best experience with Canada was when I flew back home from Salt Lake City and I had the opportunity to see the northern lights from the cockpit just south of Thunder Bay (ON)
@keiyronelleavgeek566 never had it but (prepare to be shocked/ disappointed), I’m a Dutch guy who doesn’t like Cheese and can’t ice skate
@CSTIJN yeah, it's a beautiful (but C-C-C-C-C-COOOOOOLLLLDDD) country to spend time in. also, the food around here is AMAZING.
have you ever had poutine? it's goated.
@keiyronelleavgeek566 That’s insane hahaha.
Last year when I was working on my highschool finals thesis, I had thought about studying in Canada for a while.
and they're CRAZY expensive.
@CSTIJN lol
canada has shops that ONLY open during tourist season xD
@keiyronelleavgeek566 I’ve been to Toronto once, I really loved it (it was back in 2018 but I heard that the city changed for the worse).
But I only have good memories of Canada even if it’s just from the sky, the country is honestly so beautiful.
@keiyronelleavgeek566 yeh it’s pretty nice here, although the tourist stuff is quite overrated in my opinion.
And some of the stuff is also found in other locations in the country where it’s less crowded.
@CSTIJN oh, cool!
i've always wanted to go there.
@keiyronelleavgeek566 I’m from the Netherlands
@CSTIJN lol, yeah, it is quite good for practicing languages.
not to be creepy, but in what country do you live?
