I've had this as well, my guess is that there's some sort of memory leak or something related to the mod. As Monarchii said, leaving and returning to the editor generally resets it.
just go forward to sandbox lmao, or go backward to main menu selection between sandbox and dogfight, SP does that stuff quite often if you phillipephillope the overload a bit too much, can't do much bout it so :3
