@Rjenteissussy win10 doesn't like hard disks. All that is needed for good performance is to upgrade to an SSD.

My core 2 duo T7500 laptop runs win10 just fine off of a USB stick, but cannot run win10 off of it's hard disk.
(It did require a lot of other driver related pain and suffering to get it working on hardware that old though.)

Do not update to windows 11, the next update will encrypt your hard drive.

@HanakoSan @V in my dads advice i shouldn't make my 8.1 updated to 10-11 because of Performance issues, my friend updated his potato 7 to 10, it works fine but lags a lot and takes some time to react on a mouse and keyboard. It sounds stupid but needed to update the whole drive, cpu, gpu, etc for better gameplay.

Same here I have 8.1 rn and even worse a bad power supply that only runs for five minutes then starts smoking Orr will run good but only if the case is off and air is pointed at it but either way I'm pretty sure you can update for free

You don't need to get a new PC to run win10. You can just go to Microsoft's website and you can grab the updater there

Btw are you currently use the Windows 8.1? You can update to Windows 10/Windows 11 if you want, no need to buy new PC
