I am making another replica now, and I am trying to make it as realistic as possible. Its going great, with the blueprints, and everything looks great. However, it is WAY too small. I know how to change the size of the blueprints, and how to scale the entire build, but I cannot figure out how to make a foot in simple planes equal a foot in real life (or a meter). How do you do this? Any advice is appreciated.
I pretty much did it how Wins did it nowadays, though I used to basically just make it and resize it(formula is Target Size ÷ Current Size and the resulting number is how much you need to scale your aircraft with finetuner) because it's easier
Mouse, this is how I did.
1) Let's say, I am building a 67ft long plane, Then I would convert it into a meter (which is about 20.4) -
2) I will change my setting to meter, (which is easier) since 1 fuselage scale - 0.5 meters.
3) then take a block and change the length to 40.8 units (20.4/0.5).
4) Once you get that long stick-like thing, inset your blueprint under it, and scale it until it matches the length. For visual purposes, I usually change the color to flat orange -
hope this save your problem
@Mousewithamachinegun122 1 block = 0.5m
1 fuselage scale - 0.5 meter
@GuardianAerospace
Yes, I just noticed.
Congrats on 20K
@TheMouse ok

Cause the war is over now.
Why did you change your gamertag!?

@MonarchiiwithastolenMG great idea
@MonarchiiwithastolenMG
Thanks too.
I think you overestimate the value of my character, but thanks.
@Graingy
I just commented it. It was on an unlisted post. So hopefully no mods. But you seemed very sincere, so I doubt they would do anything anyway.
Thank you.
I'm hoping I'm not incurring a Moderator's wrath by trying to mend a relationship here.
@Graingy
Of course.
Rather ironic considering that we're also discussing SimplePlanes strikes, but it is technically illegal.
ShinyGemsBro, a person I'm usually able to just avoid, is seeming to possibly be taking a central role in site events going forward, at least going off that one post.
Issue is, I'm blocked. I think I may have made some immature and pointless jab at Genshin Impact in the past and while I'm not a fan of the game there was little reason to do so. I am willing to apologize for that.
But I can't. Because I'm blocked.
Do you think you could ask ShinyGemsBro (in the least hostile way possible. I don't want to make things worse) if they'd be willing to accept an apology for whatever I may have done to upset them? I feel pretty dumb about it, regardless.
Please?
@Graingy
Sure/ What is it?
Could you do me a favour?
