Though I don't think you can get flipnote studio 3d anymore because it is a club nintendo thing and there's a code thing and it's redeemable in the eshop

There are several variants of the 3ds
Normal, and XL are basically the same, just XL is big
The new variants can run more stuff, like Minecraft
2ds variants don't have the 3d feature, and they don't have foldable screens (except new 2ds xl, the one I have)
