I have played Simpleplanes Multiplayer on my phone.

Yes. It is possible. Impossible it may seem, but I have done it. All you need is a pc with SimplePlanes on Steam and a decent WiFi connection. Simply download the Steam Link app:

That sucker will let you play pc games on your phone.

The problem here is that is is super glitchy. It took 10 minutes just to figure out how to get the stupid thing running. The framerates were pretty bad, and my poor network connection didn't appreciate me running a multiplayer game, as well as streaming my entire pc straight to my phone. I also couldn't adjust the throttle, so it was overall a pretty bad experience.

@32 Got it. I think I’ll stick to playing SimplePlanes on my phone rather than SimplePlanes.

@BeastHunter yes, but for some reason one of the joysticks was completely non functional for me. I tried messing with controller bindings and it didn't do anything. You can control things outside of the sandbox just by tapping the screen.

@32 This is the reason as to why we have not got mp officialy on android that is and its because of both lag and server costs

I don’t know, but a keyboard will do.

@jamesPLANESii yeah, it's not terribly practical, or cheap. If there was an offline app that mimicked Windows on mobile devices, that would be nice, but as of right now I don't see that happening on my iPhone.

Eh not really. You're just playing it through uour PC and streaming it and controlling it on your phone.
It kinda defeats the point of not having a PC to run SP.

Even if it's not 100% practical (since you need a PC to start with), still a neat find.

@TheFlightGuySP Yeah, it's not super great. I bet if you had an MFi controller and a good wired connection on your pc, it would be better, but with my current setup it's too much trouble to be worth it.

I wondered if this was possible when I heard about the Steam thing.
The results are about what I expected though.
