I agree. They are brainless-like and too old tech. But Devs aren't mind it.
Could be the AI failing to account for terrain, at least in dogfights.
Autopilot AI.
The reason they kamikaze into u when agressive with no weapons is cuz they want u dead no matter what
The devs really need to focus on the ai for the next update. If they could just refine it and make the ai dogfights actually work, the game would be so much better
Turboprop Flight Simulator has better ai tho
@Korzalerke you can disable it by giving the aggressive ai a plane that doesnt have yaw controls
The ai is just overall terrible: the autopilot constantly pitches up and down, the dogfight ai constantly yaws when firing it's gun and also every unarmed plane in sandbox mode is a kamikaze pilot for some reason. The devs should make a better one on the next update (1.13 maybe).
