Optimization.

If I know anything from playing this game for so long, it’s that this game is beyond UN-optimized.
.
It’s E X T R E M E L Y poor, and requires so much power to even run a 1,000 part vehicle, craft, plane or ship. This game needs it more than anything, rather than just adding new things.
.
That cannot go without being done for a game to be a game itself. Especially if you are wishing for new people to buy or play your products, along with the new SP generation of builders making +2k part builds, having to go through every part, making CalculateDrag False for a minuscule difference.
.
Yes it’s an old game, exactly why it needs to be done.
This may seem like a harsh statement, I don’t mean for it to seem that way. It’s just bad

    @WormWithLegs no not necessarily.
    With the unity engine SP uses it’s not exactly how you’d think it is. I’m not good at explaining that so I’ll let him handle it

    @Tetrodotoxin but aren't you still using multiple parts to build that assembly? Like, yes, they are technically "one part", but it's still made up of multiple parts and therefore takes the same amount of processing power.

    I have long dreamed of such a feature as "merging of parts", so that a bunch of parts are considered a game for one monolithic, which will less load my poor laptop. This is very useful for creating grilles, engines, nozzles, logos, etc.

    I understand that it is very difficult to implement for such a game as SP, but don't prevent me from dreaming

    You can't fix this without a new codebase. Maybe in SP2 if ever.

    exactly what I've pointed out in some of my posts. a known bug is memory leak due to pause, but that's just a minor thing. the annoying thing is that it barely uses resources at it's disposal, yet, it lags like if I were running Nier Automata at 4K... first off, the game always runs the GPU on Idle and cpu is barely on 30-50% load, also the RAM usae is farily low when comparing to games that can actually put a pc to it's knees for not enough resources. the game choke's itself for resources despite having a ginormous amount of resources, which varies a bit from each device.
