On the iOS App Store for the game, it says that it requires an iPhone 4s, iPad 2 iPad mini 1 iPod 5 or better. The iPhone 4s portion is wrong because on a normal iPhone 4, the one without Siri, I was able to run a version of simple planes, but it was laggy. It was when the few damage was first released is the newest version it can run. It is maxed out on iOS 7.1.3
They aren't talking about the game being 'laggy', they're talking about the minimum specs, software version that can run it.
If it does not meet the requirements, the device cannot run the game.

what you're talking about is different
on steam there's always a minimum specs page, which is never accurate because people can run things like war thunder on a pc with 128mb of video ram and a crappy processor etc
they're talking about a device that can actually run the game smoothly, as every minimum spec report should be
not just "oh the games laggy but it runs"

that's recommended, not required
