@tsampoy or make it more simple and get a hollow fuselage, make exhaust pipes, XML mod a small engine, recommend 0.1 for all, turn it so ite facing out of the pipe, you'll have to experiment with the exhaust scale on the jet engine, and finally change the color to what you want.

Put a VTOL engine and put vtol nozzles on the exhaust pipes, then use overload to set the color of the VTOL engine's exhaust to the color you want
