So a new easter egg has been added/discovered I guess. Stop reading if you want to discover it on your own.
In @Inuyasha8215's video we see that if you hang around in the interior of the Pyramid of ET for 10+ seconds, the entire pyramid ignited engines and rockets upwards at around 1000mph. I had to give it a try, and here are a few screenshots of the process.
The pyramid lifting off, with @Freerider2142's Orca II Armed in front. It's important to get out of the pyramid as fast as possible once it says, "Something ancient has been awoken", or you'll be crushed. The Orca II Armed is a very good VTOL craft for this roll. Just hover around for a few seconds, and then fly out just as the message appears.
So it turns out the pyramid is powered by 5 Alien Engines, and all are destructible. Engage your afterburner, and start shooting air-to-air missiles, cannons, and gun rounds at these engines. Be quick, as this spacecraft reaches high altitudes very fast.
Shoot out all the engines and you'll get a message, "You have defeated... whatever that thing was." Then the pyramid will start to fall back down, so stay out of its way.

...that lands perfectly back where it started.
So the pyramid lands right back at its original location. I thought it would explode or something when you defeat it. Checking the inside, there are no new symbols or messages.

How do you make smoke on the ground using engines? ive been wondering about that
Also that pyramid is a dissapointment. I thought it will be a gigantic explosion of an boom-25 explosion but big asf but no smoke particles,whoosh or whatever just, plop land
@vcharng What I did was save a location inside of the pyramid to start at. Then, I’d start to hover around a bit, slowly making my way to the exit. Generally after about 10 seconds the message would appear, and I’d fly out. I used air-to-air infernos with an explosion scale of 3 on the engines. Rockets at close range or an XML edited gun also works really well too.
Do you have to hover inside it? can I just land in it? (like, by crashing the first time, mark a spawn point and spawn in a new plane)
Also about how much HP does those engines have?
Yeah this must be relatively new cus I’ve hung around inside before and this hasn’t occurred lol
