Need help with prop thingy

4,165 chemmey  3.6 years ago

So I've been experimenting with a lot of new stuffs like wing layouts, body shapes, speeds and so on. I came up with a propellor WWII-style single-engine fighter. But there is some problem. The plane have tendencies of rolling to the left due to the prop torque. I have no idea what to do in order to fix that. Is there anything could be done or not?

The plane will be ready somewhat in 1-2 days.

Features:
  1. 280 kts
  2. Realistic performance
  3. Stable flight achieved at 255-260 kts @ 1500m
  4. Four MGs at the wing
  5. A little effort with aerofoils :-

That's it.

Have a nice day :)

@fernanditohackersito usually to avoid this problem I'll just concentrate the drag on the fuselage(body) of the aircraft. Although problem may varied and technique to solve also might be different

I recently have that problem, it results in only a piece with diferent angle or form like, on the left wing that part has a smooth corner but on the right wing that same corner is curve and that was the problem in a lot of my planes too. (Sorry the English isn't my first language :p)

Prop torque isn't simulated in SP. Check to see if your CoM is in the centre and that there aren't any parts that are far out from the centre that have drag.
