What are the key 'subjects' for a trailer?

Hello SimplePlanes community.

So my next build is basically done now, but I want to try making my first trailer for this aircraft.
My question though, is what are the key parts (or 'subjects' if you will) of a trailer?

Yes, I could do research, but it's just easier for me right now to ask random people online on the key parts of a trailer for a fictional aircraft in a game.
And yes, I'm finding it easier to ask the people who have already done this trailer stuff.

So, if you could tell me your suggestions, ideas, advice or whatever you want to call it, that would be greatly appreciated.

@FeatherWing but I would say a eye catching title and good screenshots are the key

There are no rules edged in stone. Find a music track you like and imagine how it will play out, then make it happen. I do suggest a build-up (like close-ups) to action (dogfight, high speed flight at full power, etc etc) and then either a harsh cut-off or some sort of outro.

Kinda makes you wish there was a better alternative to the Freecam mod..

my approach is usually show little corners of it before a sorta reveal in the middle and then move to show some stuff it can do
its best to not go above a minute in length but if the music demands it then its fine (2 minutes is excusable, 3 is kinda excessive tbh honest)
and probably no one has done this but istg its so easy just put camera parts on rotators and pistons and voila u get sick cam angles
if ur out of ideas for camera angles look to movies with big things that move around (i.e. star wars, pacific rim, any marvel movie that has that)
and also the shot structuring should be based on the rhythm of the music, if youd like i can give a playlist of stuff you can use
but ay thats my opinion and feel free to disagree with anything if you have to

Tho I haven't made a video trailer since the day I created an account, I have some recommendations:

    • Must show the capabilities of the aircraft
    • music is recommended

That's really all that I have
