How to increase maneuverability of this ship?

848 AdmiralCrab  3.8 years ago

I am working on a new ship(A-9 Vigilance)and I would like to make it more maneuverable. It does not need to be able to do cobras and stuff like that, it just need to fly better than it does now. I will link the build to this page. The wings and other parts that look out of place will be scaled down to 0 so they do not appear visually, but still do their job. Any answers/help is appreciated.

If you do edit the ship, feel free to add/remove bits that don’t make the ship any different visually or bits that can be scaled to 0 without being messed up.

Ah I see. I usually do it when the plane is done anyway, so I can edit it if needed. @jamesPLANESii

No, you scale it small like 0.1 scale @KnightOfRen

If you don't want the SP Canopy, you have to do that. @jamesPLANESii

I don’t recommend scaling parts to 0 because then if there’s something that needs adjusting and is 0 scale, you can’t.
Stuff to make it more manoeuvrable is making the CoM and CoL closer together, reducing the aircraft’s weight, and increasing wing area.
