I was making an airplane in the designer and all of the sudden the game crashed, or glitches out so I had to close it (I’m using mobile). When I reopen the app and try to load my save file of the plane, it says “there was an error loading the aircraft design.” I have never ever had this issue with any other plane before, and I tried closing and reopening the app many times, restarting my iPad, and loading a different plane and trying to load my plane again. Please help, a lot of effort was put into this next project of mine and I don’t want it all to be lost. I won’t have the inspiration to redo it all. I believe so far I was 5 hours into the work.
Never mind, it’s all lost. I think the corrupt file overwrote the good file so nothing is there anymore. I just deleted it, but thanks anyways. @Ultra0 @jamesPLANESii
I have a pc. I just am more skilled at building on mobile, and my IPad Pro can handle big creations. I do usually make backups when I’m done with a building session. The worst part is, I was literally about to make the backup, I was just overwriting the original file when it crashed, lol. Thank you for the help. I’ll see if this fixes it. @Ultra0

No, I hadn’t made anything in a while before making this. I was just messing around with other people’s build. My latest download was BogdanX’s Corsair, idk if it or any of the ones I downloaded prior to it used them.
I think it’s a corrupt file. Just delete the one that broke @BusterShortWolf
Ok. I’m just trying to see if there’s a pattern between people who have these crashes. Did you make anything with jet engines between your last save and the save that crashed the game? @BusterShortWolf
Do you know if deleting the SimplePlanes app and reinstalling it delete all my saved planes, or just the one loaded? @jamesPLANESii
Well i don’t see the relevance but it was the German iron cross. I guess I’ll spoil it, it is/was a ww1 plane. @jamesPLANESii

The last thing I had done was use the overload mod to nudge an emblem into the tail with the multi select. The game actually crashed when I saved it. @jamesPLANESii
