What is it?
The Brown Pearl is an easter egg that entered SimplePlanes in the 1.8 update. It is a galleon capable of approximately 800 mph and sustained hard turns. It has an unlimited cache of guided cannonballs which have incredibly long range and instant lock. Fortunately for you the cannonballs are quite easy to decoy with countermeasures.
How do I find it?

The easiest way to find the Brown Pearl is to take off from Wright Airport then fly on bearing 247 until the text "Ye have made a grave mistake!" appears. When this happens slow down, look slightly to the right, and the Brown Pearl should appear shortly.
It is recommended to save your location once you sight the Brown Pearl, so that you don't have to make the journey again if you fail.
Unfortunately the Brown Pearl will occasionally not appear, even when the message does. If this happens then give up all hope, as if it doesn't appear the first time then it never will.
What do I need to destroy it?
You will need a fast, stable plane that has long range and can turn with the Brown Pearl. It must be equipped with XML modded guns that are much more powerful than normal. XML modded missiles that can both catch and turn with the Pearl are also a valuable asset.

if it doesn't appear for you, set the AI AIR traffic to at least sparse. i recommend to use a radar mod, if you still can't find it

What if the message appears and the pearl is not there
i destroyed it with my unmodded fast jet that can reach mach 2(except for the gun)

addition to the tutorial: when you seen the message, head to 300, enable the ground target mode, and prepare for the cannonballs and fight back

I have never heard of the brown pearl until today, thank you for telling me about, I will have to fly there with.......something, I don't know what though, maybe I will build a new plane to get there.

Cool, thank you. SledDriver's method, which is the one people follow, is overly complex and inaccurate, so hopefully this should clear it up.

Same here. The main problem is that sometimes the message appears but the Pearl doesn't, leading some users to assume that the Brown Pearl doesn't actually exist.
