Click or tap (if you on touch device) on the button, find inputController, you found it? Gud, now find something called "input" and the assigned input of it, usually in VTOL, change that to landingGear
If you go to the home page of the game and then go to mods, there’s a thing called overload. Enable that and then go to the designer and you will notice a new button at the bottom of the screen. Basically with this button you can limitlessly edit the attributes of parts, including limitlessly editing the inputs of parts.
