The forums aren't exactly the best place to socialize with other players.
That's why there are Discord servers, where people tend to talk about all sorts of things, ranging from Raytheon's newest missiles to G O O S M A D.
This is an invite to one of the friendliest communities I have found on SimplePlanes. I joined this server not long ago, but I don't regret a single bit of it. And I'm sure you too will enjoy your stay! :)
On another note: try and find something you really enjoy building. My personal experience is that, when you build something you like, you give it your best, and people tend to notice you. That's how you gather people's attention here: being the best at what you do.

Well, hi. Just try talking in the forums a bit more, posting about your builds, or just general aviation. That tends to get people to notice you more.
