Try to use Autocad to measure directly on the blueprint picture. Distances and angles are stuffs you need to measure. If you want optimal accuracy, you definitely need some trigonometry / calculus skills. My MD80 nose is my first project carried out by this strategy so that's why it looks super accurate.
