I know somebody give you the answer but you're lying you didn't even search for info, I just typed "how to put image in description" in the search bar of SP and found a lot of forum posts showing how to do it
@Shugie because you have to open XML and then go in "inputcontroller" (the very first thing on the top of the XML page, if you clic on it you can change the section in which you are), and then in "inputcontroller" there will be written "input" and the acual input next it, delete the actual input for what you want
-don't forget to destroy the connections before duplicating or mirroring parts.
-if you're trying to create a bomb bay on one of your already made or almost finished builds, it's doable, but don't forget to destroy the connections of the parts that you will modify and slice.
-you can change the values for what ever you want, you can make the bay open faster, slower, more or less.
because it's a pain in the ass to make, not really because it's difficult, in fact I think it's pretty easy, but it would be very laggy to have a full square of pixels. as I said to you on discord, using a fuselage block as background would be less laggy, and then just us a text label with the right FT for your position in that background. the island could be made in text too I guess, if we play with circles and the text thickness I don't know I have to think about it. I'm saying this for people that have nothing to do lol I'm too lazy and busy to do that.
@SARACONIKaviationIndustry there is no variable for weather but you can use location as inputs, so why not make a weather radar depending on your position on the map (maywar being a desert, the snow island well snow and wright and yeager tropical)
I don't see more or less players, the website is actually pretty active, SP related discord servers still have a lot going on, builds are still posted A LOT and the last update a bring so much new a awesome things that the best players just take their time to build since there's so much to do now. The game has never been as awesome as it is today. And it's not because there isn't an upvote everyday that it is dying, some people play gamesit from the 90s, do you really think they are waiting for an update ? No, they just enjoy the game for what it is, and SP is an awesome sandbox game. It will die, as every game will, but trust me, SimplePlanes is still alive and for a pretty long time.
@G2 three hours isn't much lol, it isn't a speedrun game, you should take your time to enjoy it, of course you'll make a kickingfish-ish plane if you play 3 hours per plane
@Rjenteissussy It never did tho, and even if it maybe could do it, the top speed of the Mig 31 is lower than the one of the Mig 25 for several reasons : no need to go as fast since the Mig 31 as better avionics and missiles, so there isn't really the need to get as close to the enemy as the Mig 25 needed to be. Second reason, the soviet/russians learned a lot with the Mig 25 and how stressfull it was for the plane to go mach 3 so they limited the top speed, that doesn't mean the Mig 31 isn't capable of it, but a combat operational one isn't mean for it and will only reach that speed in special conditions, unlike the Mig 25 that could reach that speed more easely.
Wikipedia is great but the specs on it aren't that great since it doesn't do the difference between different versions, and as I said, a combat operational Mig 31 is slower (mach 2.8, which is still insane) than a combat operational Mig 25.
Growling Sidewinder is a DCS player and you can't use a game as a reference, especially when the Mig 31 and the SR 71 aren't real moduls in the game but mods.
The Mig 31 is an advanced version of the Mig 25, but that doesn't mean it's faster, it as more advanced avionics, weapons, weapons systems and flight specs thanks to composite materials.
@Rjenteissussy actually the Mig 31 is not a fighter jet, and it is not faster than the Mig 25. The Mig 31 is a high altitude interceptor and can't hit mach 3 like the Mig 25.
@Anastvats It kinda was an advice, you made a replica, and a good looking one, when you make a replica you want it to look good (what you did right), but why not make the flight model good too ? The plane is already very stable, the 30Gs thing is the only down side.

+1Didn't test it yet, but the screens are way too glossy, it reflects everything which isn't good looking at all
