@AndrewGarrison I don't think drag is the problem. It seems to get stuck in itself. When starting midair the prop doesn't even free spin even a little. When modding the pro I had to make it 100x more powerful. The prop managed to overcome what was holding it still, but as a result it blew up. It could be compared to putting a wing between the blades on your prop; if the propeller is too weak it will just get stuck, but if it's powerful enough it will just break the wing and explode the engine. I have more evidence that this isn't desired behaviour too. Auto prop pitch works just fine, and most important of all: manual prop pitch works at >30%, but not fixed pitch.
@AndrewGarrison Have you looked at the issue I pointed out:
"@AndrewGarrison The smallest prop engine has more problems it seems. When maxing out diameter and thickness the propeller will not spin if set to a fixed pitch greater than 30%. (Horsepower, blade type and blade count does not matter) When fixed pitch is set to 80% the maximum diameter is 135 inches and the maximum blade thickness is 1.5."?

@SpiritusRaptor @AndrewGarrison What is weirder though, is that when I paused right when the game started and then unpaused again the plane did not explode in the secondary position.

Andrew, will I have to edit my submission to a plane that does not explode in the secondary position for this tournament?
@AndrewGarrison The negative fuel exploit should not be allowed. If you mod a fuel tank to have extremely high fuel and another one to have negative that amount the result will be almost endless fuel without any significant weight increase.
@PhilipTarpley I use my interlink on my phone with a USB otg adapter. (In the old (current on mobile) input system the throttle axis on the interlink isn't recognized though)
@AndrewGarrison Good.
I love the preview!
I have also been on SP for over one year!
@joeysellers XML modded fuel properties in wings are not allowed, are they?

@Nickasaurus Not now, but I hope to be able to participate in the next tournament too
@Nickasaurus It is actually based of my entry for the shark tooth tournament ;)
@@Himynameiswalrus @@Nickasaurus Thanks guys!
With the old engines I can easily break the sound barrier

@SpiritusRaptor I have cropping into my prop, yes. The weird thing is that it works when it is not controlled by the enemy AI.
@AndrewGarrison My plane seems to always crash in midair when starting as enemy, but when starting as player or in sandbox it is fine

Ingenious way to reduce the drag from the cockpit!
@gyroscopeduckling That's no good :(
@CarlosDanger13 I'm pretty sure it will be free
@CarlosDanger13 a multi-player mod is being developed by two of the players
How's development going? Will we get any news soon? :)
@MediocrePlanes How were I supposed to say it? English is not my native language
@laSoul Explanation is:
1. You upload really much content
2. Your content is great
I'm in!
Edit: I'm not in! (Cause of not enough time)
Welcome back!
Nice! You should try making autogyros
@Jettison I also changed the front gear to make it completely symmetrical. Lastly I added RCN for yaw.
@Jettison The jet engine is on the right side, so yes it is irregularly weighted
Very nice! I fixed the stability for you :)
Nice
Ich meine, dass ich keine neue flugzeugen bauen wollen.
Ich habe leider nicht Zeit.
I have used a joystick on Android. Just plugged it into a USB otg adapter.
Nice!
After going through hundreds of pages with planes from 11 months ago I can't seem to find it. Either I've missed it, or the creator has deleted it.
Nice! You are definitely not first though; I saw someone coming up with this exact concept shortly after rotators were added to the game.
@Ironghost Yours is probably more stable and faster though ;)
Cool! I've also made this plane
@Babkov Cool
@PhilipTarpley I use my interlink on my phone with a USB otg adapter. (In the old (current on mobile) input system the throttle axis on the interlink isn't recognized though)
The pitch and roll are inverted
@PlanesAndThings If I have the time I will have a go at it
@PlanesAndThings The gimbal kinda works; it's cool!
@PlanesAndThings
I could try all three. If I have to choose I want to try the one with a gimbal.
@PlanesAndThings Why not ;)
And this is a really stable VTOL!
