  • Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II V 2.0 9.9 years ago

Copyright @Allstarship give him some credit

  • THE WINNER IS.... 9.9 years ago

Thanks, all those visiting please do go check out the range of aircraft that are on my build page.

  • Ju-26 9.9 years ago

I like it except the high take off speed with the rear wheels being so far back.

  • Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning v 0.5 9.9 years ago

Yours? Are you sure it looks and shares it's history with a plane made by Allstarship a couple of weeks ago as do the three or four other versions you've posted in the last day. Would be OK to paint/modify others work providing you give them credit and post as a successor.

  • Fairey Swordfish Mk. II 9.9 years ago

@Scriefers She was done for but I feel the crew would have all got out battered but alive.

  • Advanced Training Jet 9.9 years ago

@Hunter77 Glad you liked it what would you like to see improved, I'm more than happy to tweak it although winning isn't my sole aim

  • Thunderbolt A10 9.9 years ago

Disable the detachers using the little cog icon and cycle through past 6

  • F-212.331 CAS 9.9 years ago

@Viper28 hope you approve, if not let me know and it will be gone in the morning.

  • F-212.3 B 9.9 years ago

@Viper28 posting a successor that I feel is suitably for close air support duties will gladly remove it if you don't approve.

  • Atom Bomb Challenge 9.9 years ago

@hypnotoad thanks for all the stars, some what unexpected seeing lots of notifications.

  • Fighter jet 9.9 years ago

Great roll rate I'm not sure I would have arranged the engines in front of the gear like that, but have some stars to allow you to rate others.

  • Advanced Training Jet 9.9 years ago

    @Vikdesigns many thanks

  • Fairey Swordfish Mk. II 9.9 years ago

I have to say I got it to break up on me today, 71mph clip off the top of a hill and I left nose cones splattered everywhere even though most of the plane stayed in one piece.

  • Supermarine Spitfire Mk. XIV 10.0 years ago

Looks cool have put on favourites to have a play with in a bit.

  • F-212.4 R 10.0 years ago

Sidewinders from behind your engines and vertical stabilizers your a brave man!!

  • Airbus A330k Tanker 10.0 years ago

Stick a little tail and flap trim in with 6 to make the AOA easier also 1 (I think) unlocks the airbrakes.

  • F-212.3 B 10.0 years ago

I like the way it flies and the weapons load isn't that poor, not as good as the Buzzard 1.2 that's been added to the CFAC but still a cracking little jet.

  • Help 10.0 years ago

Weird as in the left tip is floating free? If so rip it of and stick it back on again, sorted. Weird as in the plane not being flyable? Well it's far from finished as yet, needs fuselage and a tail assembly.

  • Floating Ghost 10.0 years ago

Looks fun zero attachments, will be a pain to make symmetrical though.

  • Make This Fly 10.0 years ago

You are probably right -100,000,000 gallons of fuel is an bad place to start from, I was considering lots of detachers but I doubt I can get more than ten seconds of flight like that.

  • X-15 10.0 years ago

Lots of simple fixes would have made this better, symmetric wings would have helped for a start and smaller control surfaces as the roll rate as it is would make Chuck Yager blackout. Even these though and she still rips apart way before the acceleration has slowed, in short it takes more than a big engine to make a fast plane.

  • Make This Fly 10.0 years ago

    Your definition of flight?

  • CFAC - Buzzard 1.2 10.0 years ago

@TheFreakyWatermelon yes it's the right plane, also used for Viper28's carrier aircraft challenge so it's an off the peg solution.

  • Here you go 10.0 years ago

Put inlets under the chin and sort the nozzles out on the prop (rotate one, pick an activation group and make sure they both turn forwards or backwards at the same time.

  • de havilland 106 DH comet 10.0 years ago

Wing shape is all wrong but still a good effort thank you.

  • (Challenge) Vtol 10000MPH 10.0 years ago

As I said take off is the problem, far from perfect launch and I topped 7800mph before leaping into space.

  • Flying Brick 10.0 years ago

@hypnotoad well he asked if anyone could make it fly, I did the basic minimum so that it could be flown off the main runway.

  • The military future challange 10.0 years ago

I don't fancy uploading this again as its only 5 hours since it was first posted. Meets your criteria. https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/2Bfiv5/CFAC-Buzzard-1-2

  • (Challenge) Vtol 10000MPH 10.0 years ago

I do, I've built something similar before, if you can crack the take off you are sweet for five figures.

  • Ideas? 10.0 years ago

De Havilland DH 106 Comet would be nice. BOAC colours of course.

  • Trainer Jet Modded 10.0 years ago

@StealthBomber I dropped the block into a model a moment or ten ago and it showed the majority of the fuel was already used, assume it's still there and available to use?

  • Trainer Jet Modded 10.0 years ago

    Flying on Helium?

  • 4 engine challenge 10.0 years ago

@StealthBomber tanks are modded hence the challenge being far from simple.

  • 4 engine challenge 10.0 years ago

Do the tanks need to stay in a single block?

  • lippisch P.13 A 10.0 years ago

An interesting if underpowered copy of some cutting edge German WW2 conceptual technology.

  • X-wing 10.0 years ago

Well it was adventurous for a first plane, modified version now a successor that you can fly, give me the nod when you have saved it and I will pull it off the list so you can repost.

  • Mach 1 challenger (upgraded) 10.0 years ago

@KingDeadshot many thanks for rating you just got me through the 1000 point mark.

  • help 10.0 years ago

Looks like a challenge but his mum should have asked him to say please and thank you. We got your last monster tank moving perhaps stars for the last effort would have been a good way to say thanks?

  • Supermarine S6B 1930 10.0 years ago

It's a bit squiggly handling wise but it's a nice model and deserves 5 stars.

  • Mcdonnell dougolas F4 Phantom II 10.0 years ago

Sparrow missiles unfortunately bend and drag the plane down.

  • Mcdonnell dougolas F4 Phantom II 10.0 years ago

    Quality as usual

  • PROP NEEDED 10.0 years ago

Check @WalrusAircraft loads of parts uploaded for free use.

  • helicopter 10.0 years ago

Concept is good but a helicopters rotor head does a lot more than that allowing pitch roll and yaw.

  • my missile launcher 10.0 years ago

So very needy giving yourself stars, let others have a look and see what they think.

  • helicopter challenge 10.0 years ago

10? Entry, landing and water capable?

  • F-106 Delta Dart 10.0 years ago

Indeed that's what I did after I figured out what you had done.

  • F-106 Delta Dart 10.0 years ago

Love the use of airbrakes to make up additional bits for the canopy, makes for an interesting landing though when you suddenly find yourself going backwards and upside down.

  • Fairey Swordfish Mk. II 10.0 years ago

    Folding wings as well?

  • USAF Century Fighters 10.0 years ago

Just in case you missed the upgraded F102 based on @Swanman chassis take a look athttps://www.simpleplanes.com/a/q2OqO8/USAF-F102

  • Fairey Swordfish Mk. II 10.0 years ago

You could do an ASW version based on this pretty easily, chin mounted search radar and a bunch of fat rockets strung under each outer wing.
