  • B-Moth Y [prototype III] 9.5 years ago

    The Heep Micro IIIr [not released, but also the smallest] is 8 long, 4 wide and 4.5 tall. If I can clip off .5 blocks in height it would fit quite snugly in a 2-section bay.

  • B-Moth Y [prototype III] 9.5 years ago

    @Sirstupid ok, tiny plane. Maybe an Altscraft 3-1? I think it would fit if I lengthened the cargo bay. Not sure how it would get out though. Maybe I could wedge a Heep Micro in there!

  • B-Moth Y [prototype III] 9.5 years ago

    @Sirstupid like a stabilizer running the whole body length?

  • B-Moth Y [prototype III] 9.5 years ago

    @Sirstupid it's kinda late here. If I remember, you're in CST so its like 01.30 over there. I think I will log off for the night, and work on the pitch issue in the morning. Any other non-fix features you want to see?

  • B-Moth Y [prototype III] 9.5 years ago

    @Sirstupid thanks so much for your help with this project of mine.

  • B-Moth Y [prototype II] 9.5 years ago

    @Sirstupid ah, I see now what you meant. Thanks!

  • B-Moth Y [prototype II] 9.5 years ago

    @Sirstupid you have to link the URL to the actual plane, linking it to the "successor" page doesn't do it. It's unlisted, after all.

  • B-Moth Y [prototype II] 9.5 years ago

    @Sirstupid link me?

  • B-Moth Y [prototype II] 9.5 years ago

    @Sirstupid could you post that in an unlisted or something?

  • B-Moth Y [prototype II] 9.5 years ago

    @Sirstupid it's still unstable, at any speed. Any ideas?

  • B-Moth Y [prototype II] 9.5 years ago

    Done and I'm getting called to dinner. Back shortly

  • B-Moth Y [prototype II] 9.5 years ago

    Works, but I also did a six-blade with T3000s. Gimme a sec to post it, and I'll link it here.

  • 3 SPOTS LEFT 9.5 years ago

    clicky

  • B-Moth Y [prototype II] 9.5 years ago

    I see. Same here except I can't. Do you know of any already in existence?

  • B-Moth Y [prototype II] 9.5 years ago

    @Sirstupid do you XML? An 8 blade would be...fitting.

  • B-Moth Y [prototype II] 9.5 years ago

    @Sirstupid biplane...? Also six-blades would be a good idea. It's kinda slow.

  • Nearly 2k 9.5 years ago

    You have 2016 points.

  • B-Moth Y [prototype II] 9.5 years ago

    @Sirstupid haha. The plane seems to be a bit wobbly in general. Any thoughts based on your tests?

  • B-Moth Y [prototype II] 9.5 years ago

    @Sirstupid LOL they are structural panels. Shouldn't affect anything, but change them for regular/structural wings and tell me what happens :D

  • Advice 9.5 years ago

    hmm...look around at the Golds and Platinums and take inspiration. Also, finding a "niche" is good. For example, my niche is cars [the Heep lineup, mostly] and a few airships. Just make something you think is cool and roll with it! Also, using your own paint scheme is a must.

    @CarlosDanger13 sure!

  • Who are my followers 9.5 years ago

    @CarlosDanger13 I am personally a fan of either the big-tailed late '50s or the radical-design late '60s. But make sure to also bring some custom designs to the table as well as amazing replicas!

    Me as of your first post! Go, man, go.

  • B-Moth Y [prototype I] 9.5 years ago

    @Sirstupid now that you say that, I can't un-see the connection to a Tetra type.

  • B-Moth Y [prototype I] 9.5 years ago

    @Sirstupid good idea! I'm more focused on external design right now, but I'll keep it in mind. Maybe even make the sides open on rotators.

  • B-Moth Y [prototype I] 9.5 years ago

    @Sirstupid I'm glad you do. Originally I was just trying to make a grid to match the edge cockpits, but it evolved into this nice octagon pattern.

  • B-Moth Y [prototype I] 9.5 years ago

    @Sirstupid lol thanks!

  • Keyboard problem 9.5 years ago

    Does it work for other things?

  • Electric engines 9.5 years ago

    @Baldovino I like all of these ideas, and maybe there should be 3 solar panels with different generation rates per square block, but the more efficient ones weigh more. And solar panels [type A, B, and C or whatever] are also options for primary wings and structural panels.

    two notes about this guy: created 6 days ago, and it's unarmed. Consider this a temp entry, and expect a new armed version soon.
