@ahappyape alright mate, sorry missed this one somehow. Well I can't see in my head how it will handle with just vectoring, and good? Yaw seems to be a total dark art. There are so many factors that seem to affect it. For instance I always get terrible yaw from all of the sweapt back vertical stabilisers, diminishing it's function somewhat. The taller and the higher above the COM and COL and the further back, the seemingly better. For this very reason I hardly ever make good Yaw planes. That's my basic understanding of it anyway

I have made plenty of ammendments since but no significant improvements. I find it a medium that doesn't work for me, the parts aren't geared up for cars without part clipping other parts to provide rigidity and strength.

@ahappyape to be totally honest mate this plane is entirely in response to your masterpiece. I still hate you for it. Lol. This is an effort for me to better understand the various wing configurations that I often use and which works best. So your spot on. It is exactly a mash up of a few of my planes. Recon I have a fee ideas off the back of this on mind bow I know what works best

@ahappyape Ahhhhhhh, I get , it must be having to overcome all of that wing surface area up frot, given you wouldn't have wanted to shift the mass about you would have had no choice I guess. Interesting the issues you have to solve when working on such wacky planes. Keeps us sharp I think, I had a similar issue recently with my latest plane, but managed to get a modded fuel block, which gave me finer control of the COM. Again mate I have tried and submitted several bug reports but the download always fails on me!!!

Believe me I'm flattered but I have to bow to your superior work here mate. given you raised the bar so high now chap, you'll have to keep it at this level. Hahaha, that's a TALL order for sure. I am excruciatingly annoyed it won't download for me, I will not give up trying. I am desperate to see how it goes. Really want to see how you balanced it.

Ok, well I have tried 4 times to download this and I get a failure notice each time, so this rating is purely for your design work, which if I could give you 10 stars I would. Looking at it, the rear stabiliser is sweapt forward, so the control surface will be diminished somewhat. Reverse this and you should be golden.
Well done sir. I cannot believe this flies the way it does. In fact I can't believe it flies at All! !!! Stunning design work. I took this appart just to try and see how you did it, still amazed mate, and I could never replicate this. Works well on my mobile aswell. Nice! Just changed the start location to approach and off it went. Sweet!!!!

To mirror the other comment, this is a great first plane. Clearly you grasp the game early on. Took me ages to get this good. Well done mate. Would like to see the engines within the body at the back, and perhaps wings towards the back allowing you to then get a finer balance allowing for more maneuverability, well that's my format.

Control surfaces are a thing that really interest me, given I found my own formula I have stuck with it, but it has its limitations, so any new concept is exciting, hopefully it will be something I can use when you have perfected it, if that's ok? Yea mate, I know how it is to be busy, wife and two kids for me so there is NEVER enough time, let alone the hours I want to put into this. Has to be done late at night mostly, which Sucks. Took me a total age with this thing flying, absolute nightmare given all of the surface area and inherent lift at the far front, not helped at all hy my insistence that the front and rear fuselage were going to be connected soley but inverted structural wings. I shouldn't have out that top cover on really as it hinds that fact, this was the longest build for me by far. Testimony to that is that's it's nearly 2 am my time!! Good moring by the way mate :) hope you have a good one
