Alright chap. Heard you comment you were going to quit, don't do that! this is a really nice little plane, the roll is epic! its fast off the mark and has a great take off distance. If you made the overall wing surface area a little larger it would a a tiny bit more stable, and increase the vertical stabilizer, that would get rid of the shimmy you get when exiting a roll, Tiny bit more weight towards the rear to loose a bit of the nose down, and this is PERFECT! well done mate, please keep on going
@FieryDragon Any time buddy. don't be afraid of leaving a plane and coming back to it. I often find I think i have made a good enough one, and then I revisit it the next day and i can immediately see a fault or a cosmetic change would improve it. Similarly, dont worry about posting a plane you know istn perfect, so long as you qualify that in the description this community will always support you. I have learned everything I know from others on here. And I have a long way to go and more learning to do yet mate. All the best
Yes DUDE!!! brilliant! I just downloaded this and had a mess around, its balanced RIGHT ON THE EDGE! but if your gentle with the controls is bob on! great work mate, nailed it!
@Teus any time chap, I do mean it, you have a clear skill, and I know for sure you dont take anything on that's "easy", I am positive that I couldnt come close to any of these. By the way, did you do this from memory, or do you work from a plan? would be interesting to me to know your build methods.
@Teus good evening sir, thank you for your generous rating as always, I do greatly appreciate it. yea, lol, i do often wonder what ANY of my designs would be like in real life. I would suggest that the physics are possibly faithful enough to real life to be feasible, BUT i would think that we don't have anything like the kind of materials to handle the stress that the control surfaces would be putting the craft under. Perhaps one day we will :)
Oh my goodness, I was looking into some scaled composites planes to make, this is depressingly superb, you know you have an incredible talent for this kind of thing, just a superb build. I do often struggle with replicas - the skill in representing scale is a dark art, one you have really mastered buddy, well done!
@CorvetteCole Alright buddy, yea its always a trick, only so many rotations and clipping i do before i get grumpy with it an give up, keep at it dude, you will nail it no doubt
@mattmck well its great as it is. But, I I would advise on anything it would be to perhaps add some small front wings, that are perhaps semi symetric, to provide a bit more lift at the front to counter the nose down there is. Otherwise it'sperfect :)
Alright buddy. I really don't know, personally I spend a fair amount of time rating others and trying to build the community. I sound like I'm being self centred there, but that's not what I mean, just take time to look and rate others, no one should care about your rank. Just make planes and perhaps tag others in the. If you want them to look at them. I'll certanly leave you a rating mate. :) @mattmck
@Electra10 lol, thank man, and it was nothing against this very cool plane, it was me being a noob, also, so I dont miss anything you post, to notify someone, put an @ symbol immediately before their username, that way I will get informed:)
Yea, you deserve a rate mate, im sorry for not doing so before.
To get any more stability, for me at least I would lengthen it some what to allow push the COM further forward. Saying that, the reason this thing handles like a proper stunt plane is because of the closeness between the COL and the COM, so it wouldn't be as incredibly maneuverable. @ahappyape lol, I did the same, was hovering for a bit in this :)
@PlanesOfOld hahahaha, dude I can totally see that in my head, I should have done that, its a shame it would have cut it in half or something very cool. Also, your last plane..... just epic, you have SUCH variety its unreal, well done sir
@FieryDragon alright chap, firstly, thanks you very much for your rating, I really appreciate that :) . in answer to your question. I have about 3 or 4 planes on the go at any one time, a fair few i never post as they done perform the way I would want them to, and I still learn every day. I work full time, and in between the wife and kids I get about 5 hours each night to work on planes. I'd day that all in, after build, test and re configuring, each has about 7 hours spent on them, not all at once, and not all the same, some take me days, other I can do in an evening. For this one, I knew exactly what I wanted to make and what i wanted it to look like, to I just got on with it and it didn't take too long. Others are just free form, so lots of experimentation, and some of those can take a week or so, but if you look I generally post a plane a day or every other day, so i have enough other planes in the pipeline to post, hope thats not a rediclious answer. all the best to you sir
Really very nice looking plane indeed sir. Well done
Great jet, love the looks dude

Really very cool, well done man, this is a really great example of part clipping and manipulation, great work!
