@Rb2h part of a plane getting curated is making sure that the bio is appropriate for vr users. It gets locked afterwards to make sure nobody can add anything inappropriate to it
The engines provide thrust not lift. The wings provide lift when air flows over them. So if the plane is staying in the same spot due to the conveyer belt pulling it back the wings won’t get any airflow over them to generate lift. Therefore it can’t take off.
@TheMouse I know but for crafts to be curated they must have instructions or be pretty obvious and I feel like this could confuse some vr users who aren’t familiar with simpleplanes
As of now I am the only curator. Idk if there will be more but I did request to be one. If you mean how does it work as i how do I curate things it makes a cool menu appear in the spvr app that I can use to curate planes or reject them

+1I can curate planes which means they show up in the airplane browser for vr users.
+1I think it might be a little too laggy for vr on high quality settings but it will probably work for low quality settings. I like the cockpit though

+1When you build planes with a cockpit you should add the vr tag so it can get curated and give you double points
