@SyntheticL Yeah. The Hongdu-Yakovlev CJ-7 (the little prop trainer) is a joint collaboration with Russia, and the Guizhou FTC-2000G (JL-9G) is a trainer based off the JL-9, which was just a J-7 with a double cockpit and side intakes. the JL-9G is an almost complete redesign though, and it's meant to be fully carrier capable.
@WarHawk95 Bruh no a lot of their planes are actually really good. Even the J-7, which is pretty much a rip off, is actually better than the MiG-21, which is a very good plane.
@ChrisPy None of these are copies, except maybe the Y-10. The Y-10 wasn't reverse engineered but it used the same engines as the 707 and was based off of stuff they learned while flying them.
@TheSlimeInATor Thanks
@TheLurkingVexedVortex
F-5 wings, T-45 nose, F-104 tail and bogeys

Cargo has 658 pages of stuff
@ForwardUntoDawn Yeah
Where update
I feel like this is probably a good anime but I've seen too many non-Japanese emo kids wearing sweatshirts with this that I kind of hate it
@Memri Idk
@Memri I got banned for 5 days
Maybe I'll make my MiG-19 a successor of this
Dang I could have made my MiG-15 or 9 a successor of this lol
@SyntheticL It may be, but the JL-9 looks cooler
+1@SyntheticL Yeah.
+1Porter
+1@SyntheticL Yeah those are, like the J-7. Even so, they did improve the design of a lot of the planes they reverse engineered.
@SyntheticL I could yes
@WarHawk95 I didn't even post a J-7 here lol
@WarHawk95 Bruh no a lot of their planes are actually really good. Even the J-7, which is pretty much a rip off, is actually better than the MiG-21, which is a very good plane.
@BaconEggs Ah yes
@JeffChandler J-12 lol
@ChrisPy None of these are copies, except maybe the Y-10. The Y-10 wasn't reverse engineered but it used the same engines as the 707 and was based off of stuff they learned while flying them.
@SyntheticL Yes, it has a retractable ventral fin and nobody ever makes it right
+1@2 The first is the J-12, and the last one is the Shanghai Y-10
@SupremeDorian I have a model in my room with a hand-painted August 1st demo team livery

These are rookie "lesser-known planes"
How about we start talking about reeeeally not well known ones?
Like the Nanchang J-12?
Brakes are a bit strong and it auto-yaws quite a bit while taking off/landing. Nothing major, just a tiny bit annoying
Looks like a small Mirage IV
Is that an F-101 nose lmao
@Tookan yes
bruh lmao
Looks good, a little long
This actually would have been cool as an escort fighter for mariners and stuff
+2Because it's a violation of the Android user policy
+1Ooo this will be helpful on my J-12 thanks
+1@DeltaBravoSix lol
@DerVito yeah tbh
@BurkeAircraft1 hmmmm
