@TheFreakyWatermelon - not as cool as your user ID :-)

  • "HummingBird" Prototype 10.2 years ago

I feel bad for the little guy - no mummy or daddy plane - left to fend for itself

  • Who does not like a simple plane 10.2 years ago

Ticks all the boxes. Have 5

  • EA-6B Prowler 10.2 years ago

    Slick as a slick thing

  • DSAc Class 10.2 years ago

Very unique design - I like the "flames" coming out the back. A joy to fly

  • OZIGAI 10.2 years ago

You really do make pretty planes

  • Meyer W11i -"Thanatos" 10.2 years ago

@ZFM99 @JShay. Thanks so much for the support as always - makes such a difference when people take the time to feedback.

  • Meyer W11i -"Thanatos" 10.2 years ago

@mkenz. You got out essayed :-D glad you liked

  • Meyer W11i -"Thanatos" 10.2 years ago

@hypnotoad first off thanks so much for taking the time to put such a detailed comment. For you simple planes must be near enough a full time job replying to everyone - so thanks again. COM/COL wise. Ive moved it everywhere you can think of. When I first built the plane it was right at the front - so I thought that was why it was nose heavy. I moved it back and back and back again (hence the huge rear control wings) and tbh it didn't make much difference. I left it where it was as it was the best for agility. I then thought it was the way the front wings where angled - ie pointing downwards. Again changed all that with no changes ? So put it back. It seems that "sideways " mounted wings Dont have a lot of emphasis compared to normally mounted. (Hope that makes sense). Anyways in the end I had to cheat and but the manual trim control in. I will definitely still take a look at this - but not for a bit. This one really cooked my suede! I also have to make a massive thanks as well. I did borrow the structural wing with control surface thing - The XML edit on that is actually easy. Also saw you discussing about negative weight fuel tanks - so slung them in too. As for the community - there are some very helpful fellows out there and its good company to keep. I think that most people are happy to see an interesting idea - be it from a newbie or yourself. Its good to encourage people - after all it means more planes / ideas for me! All the best buddy

  • Exploration Rover 10.2 years ago

    Yeah telling people.not to.use full throttle........POWER

  • CDC F-12D Multi-Role Fighter 10.2 years ago

Manual trim control is nice. Needs more pitch. Looks great - and cool landing gear

  • Huge ground rover carrier 10.2 years ago

@Jarjarinks hey I just realised. Its your "whale" I made a successor to months ago. Did you see it?

  • Huge ground rover carrier 10.2 years ago

@Jarjarinks credit where its due mate !

  • King cobra v2 10.2 years ago

Ah big improvement especially with pitch. Really nice. Shame your design doesn't allow for retractable gear.

  • King cobra 10.2 years ago

    Best

  • King cobra 10.2 years ago

@StaticSpud absolutely - if you do update - tag me. All the beat

  • mini jet 10.2 years ago

It is fun -as in its mental :-D. Pitch needs work - roll is great and it looks great

  • Huge ground rover carrier 10.2 years ago

    Waaaaaay too cool

  • V-2 10.2 years ago

    Not perfect but looks great

  • King cobra 10.2 years ago

Solid effort. Pitch needs to be better and landing gear is positioned well - when you put power down on runway the plane falls forward. Good looking plane and cool bomb bay doors.

  • Forum 10.2 years ago

@StealthBomber thanks much for the info on the -be fuel. Has solved a week long problem!

  • Aircraft3 10.2 years ago

    Nice bit of XML ....ery

  • Stealth boat 10.2 years ago

    Slick

  • First jet 10.2 years ago

    Nice and solid build

  • FORMIDULOSUS avis 10.2 years ago

Hyper manovreable ? No kidding. Super impressed with this build. Its got unique looks and your control surface layout has given me something to think about. Very cool

  • Rezisto 10.2 years ago

No description ? Let the plane do the talking :-D

  • Simple 4 tipped raptor 10.2 years ago

@srduval hey I'm not down with the kids - thanks for keeping me in the loop :-D

  • HB Y-2000 10.2 years ago

    Wow - that is all

  • Mitsubishi F1M2 v.1 10.2 years ago

5 stars for looks / effort gone into this

  • Kyushu J7W1 Shinden (v.2) 10.2 years ago

    Very very cool and unusual

  • VTOL HELP 10.2 years ago

Yep VTOL is a bitch. As the others have said COM exactly on COT. The only other thing I'd say is that it seems to work better on larger craft

  • Specter 10.2 years ago

Yeah this floating wing thing is really slick. Loving the work

  • Simple 4 tipped raptor 10.2 years ago

Another sideways take off :-D not that it matters. Gets in the air easily - where it flies really well. Lovely little plane

  • Obsidian Equinox 10.2 years ago

So pretty. You really do need to keep with the 3D. I know its a ball ache but it produces much more interesting ideas. A joy to fly as always.

  • The Phantom (For ahappyape) 10.2 years ago

You made training wheels for me! :-D thanks for getting me up in the air with this - I appreciate the work you've done. Also I'm not sure if I mentioned before - but bitchin colour scheme!

  • The Phantom 10.2 years ago

@ODST627 my piloting skills aren't amazing but I can't keep it in a straight line to hit the requested 130mph (water). And starting mid air - probably because its folded when you start - it just tumbles and I can't pull out of it. I checked and I'm running high physics - so mystery. Great design none the less.

  • The Phantom 10.2 years ago

    For the design at least

  • Sierra Mk. II 10.2 years ago

Silky smooth and stable - looks sleek too

  • The Phantom 10.2 years ago

Genuinely can't get this thing to fly. I've vtoled up to top and I can't get it to take off the water - I even started mid air and it still tumbles? Only thing I can think is your physics settings are set different?

  • NN 10.2 years ago

Doesn't fly so well - but looks great

  • Rotating of soikes 10.2 years ago

Super super cool. Floating parts are gonna be the next big thing no doubt! Also why the piss poor roll?

  • Alert Five 10.2 years ago

    Hey cool build. Like it

  • Delta fly-wing proto#1 10.2 years ago

Looks great - well balanced. Had to knock a star off as pitch needs MOAR

  • Mkenz Aviation P-200 Drifter 10.2 years ago

The drifter drifts! Yeah I think your diddy horizontal stab is causing the Tokyo drift there. Pretty solid other than that. Awesome colour scheme and description

  • Sea_Serpent-Mini 10.2 years ago

    @srduval nice!

  • Sea_Serpent-Mini 10.2 years ago

One of your best handling yet. Like how versatile it is aswell

  • Twistercain 10.2 years ago

    @srduval ah OK - I didn't realise you'd entered that challenge.

  • "Lancelot"Class 10.2 years ago

Properly pretty. - pitch is superb although care is needed not to stall. Very interesting and different build.

  • Sky Surveyor 10.2 years ago

    Great build!

  • simple humpback jet 10.2 years ago

Little numb to fly - is pointing the wrong way on the runway? Cool idea with the hump
