@RaddieB thank you, did you fly it and check out the new instrument panel and the handling, make sure you don't throttle up to 100% while you're taking off. And thanks for the compliment I love your original plane.
@winswings You know what, you make a good point. maybe I will throttle back the in engine a little bit. I guess a pilot shouldn't have to be worried that the plane is going to spin out of control if he tries to take off too quickly. Lol you know how to make that adjustment don't you ? I think right now the VTOL power is set at 2.2. maybe lower down to 1.5. . Tonight when I get home I will take a look at it. Also, seriously the beechcraft that you made the modifications to really look nice. I like the leading edge of the wings, the interior, everything. Is there a way you and I can communicate with each other instead of through this comment board. I really wouldn't have a problem giving you my email. But I would like to give it to you, have you confirm that you got it, and then I would take it back down.
WinsWings, this is very nice. Thanks ! ! Right now I'm working on a Cirrur Jet SF50. It does 1400mph + and you can go crazy with the yoke and it flies where you wanted to. It won't spin out of control. But you do have to be careful taking off, you can't just gun it. The plane will spin all over the place. Lol but once you're in the air you're not going to believe it. I'm almost finished.
@CRATE52PART2 ok, I lengthened it while trying to get it to fly correctly, it was spinning out of control. I did figure out what was wrong and it wasn't how long that piece was, a bigger tale is what was needed. I will shorten the fuselage
@proctor So, I've posted two of these and I fought with this phenomenon for hours. Finally what I do is I just give up and load an earlier version of the same thing. But all that work I've done since then goes to waste. The radar in the plane shows ships behind me when, in fact they are in front of me. I've pulled just the working radar panel out of other planes and put it into this one, no difference. I'm absolutely baffled. So my former post has the backwards radar, and this one has a correct radar.
@winswings check out the rear landing gear. The way the balance worked out it would have been dragging its tail so I installed retractable landing gear in the back.
@WinsWings I'm going to post a windscreen for you. It's pretty good, it's 3 wide and 3 tall. But I knocked 50% of the bottom off of all the parts. It should be pretty easy to manipulate. Windscreens I've given me a just a complete headache, so I hope this helps.
@WinsWings I am only about 1 month in front of you so we can help each other. I'm almost ready to post the BeachCraft. Again,too bad it looks like any other plane. I put a ton of work into it. The instrument panels really slick. Z
@WinsWings Twin Otters !!! That's it ! That's the plane I was thinking of. I saw a program on cable about the Twin Otter. I like this other program as well called "Air Warriors" and they showcase a different plane each episode. "Migs" is one of my favorites.
This is nice. It reminds me of the planes used in Canada to transport goods and medical supplies to remote places that are really cold. And they need a super sturdy reliable aircraft to do this job.
@WinsWings Maybe you already know this but I just figured out and it was a huge source of frustration. I was working on a plane and it flew fine, then all of the sudden when I would do a turn to the right it would suddenly spin to the right and crash. The same thing to the left. As it turns out all I had to do was increase the size of my tail and it fixed the problem every time, every plane. I hope this helps.
@WinsWings you know how it is, fighting with every little thing. The simplest things could take hours to get right. I'm OCD so that makes it worse. Making a windshield is an absolute bear.
@WinsWings the instructions I gave you will create a display you can put on your aircrafts instrument panel. It will show you your trim but it will also show you your trim in negative numbers. +100‰ to -100%. I've never seen this done. Also it will show you the status of your arrestor hook. Up,Moving,Down... I made this label myself based on the research I've been doing the past few days. I've also been working on a Beachcraft King 250 for about a week. I doubt most people will be interested because it's civilian, but I know you'll download it and give it a try because we're friends. Z
@WinsWings Assign activate 2 to your landing Hook, open a brand new label from the cockpit section and copy and paste this into the label text :. <alpha=#ff>L-HOOK:<pos=33%><alpha=#FF>{smooth(clamp01(Activate2), 0.25) = 0 ? "UP" : (smooth(clamp01(Activate2), 0.25) = 1 ? "DOWN" : "MOVING")}<br><alpha=#ff>TRIM:<pos=31%><alpha=#FF><mspace=.5em>{Trim*-100;f0} %
@GuyFolk that was the first thing I did, but then when I tried adding more fuselage parts they didn't fit correctly. So I figured I would rather just fix the first section rather than scale all the following sections, does that make sense ?
@guyfolk I just started a Beachcraft King 250. It took me almost 3 hours to get three parts together the way I wanted. The nose cone the windshield and the first part of the fuselage. I've been fighting with it all morning. Just when I thought I had it all finished it was too small.
I'm speechless.......in 1 word. "Wow" Here's a comparison between you and I. This morning I created a label that shows trim % from 100% to - 100% (AND I had to use a little of your programing to do it. I figured out the Hex color, vertical, and horizontal programming myself) in 1 word "Sad" lol lol
@guyfolk I just changed another one of my postings to give you credit for the radar : " A huge assortment or assemblies. Nuclear Cleavers, HUDs, Radars, Missiles, Engines etc"
@GuyFolk I can definitely understand that. The only thing I know how to do is to remove the symbol in the center of your radar screen. ONLY, because I can go through the programming language and even though I don't know exactly what it means or how the formulas work, I was able to identify the same text, remove the text and see that it worked. I did do something to the radar today that you must be made aware of because I just think it's cool. Going to the programming and whatever symbol you have representing your plane in the center, exchange it for this symbol. * I believe on a standard keyboard shift 8, the symbol for multiply. When you see what it puts in the center of YOUR radar you're going to have a chuckle. As far as who I am I've been flying flight simulators since the first computer. So, flying and dog fighting I can do like second nature, but building cockpits the way you do, Wow ! That is something I would like to learn. Ie how to hook a label to a rotor and create those images on the instrument panel for them to interact with. Ie, in your felon 1.11 the 2 moving indicators that show the level of thrust. That is really good stuff. I wish I knew how to do that. Z
@WinsWings go into the radar (label) that guyfolk made that everybody uses including my sweeping radar, pull up text and find the following symbol <<∆>> it is between a set of these >< remove <<∆>> and replace with this * this is the sign for multiplication. On some keyboards it's shift 8. You're going to flip when you see what winds up in the middle of that radar representing your plane. All I'm going to tell you it's definitely not *
@WinsWings I worked on your 3500 mph plane last night. The wings outside of the cockpit, you could see them shaking. I replaced all of the wings with flexless wings. I used multiple piece wings and tried to match your design. I added afterburners which should only be engaged higher than 20,000 ft. Hit 4500 mph at high altitude. But I can't stop either design from shaking at high speed at low altitude. As far as the cornering and turning it turns much better than the original design. It's sort of goes where you want it to, you'd have to fly to know what I mean. I can post it for you so you can keep going on it if you like. Let me know. If I do post it I will post it as "WinsWings W-X224"
@GuyFolk Hey GuyFolk how are you ? I hope you read below where I said I did not create square radar part of this build. I seem to see it everywhere. All I did to that portion of this build was get rid of the symbols in the middle. The one I found had this " >∆< " and I thought it looked too busy. If I knew you created that part of the radar, I would have been happy to give you credit. But again these days, it's everywhere. Upon reading your conversation with SkyJayTheFirst, I just saw it in your new Felon 1.11, I downloaded your old Felon a while back but this one !?!? Wow ! What a plane ! ! That HUD is sharp. Did you create the display the upper right that show the amount of thrust ? Good stuff Guyfolk ! Lastly, please read my Updated description of "Finally Spinning Radar !!"
@WinsWings no problem, careful with the colors you start messing around with the colors you could go down a black hole that could last for hours. The background for the radar the round part is actually a beacon light set to be on all the time. So when you choose a color for that if you decide to change it remember that beacon lights going to come on and make anything you did brighter. You can also make it flash slowly or quickly. The needle that spins around is actually another beacon light but scale was used to radically change the shape of the thing into a tiny tiny stick. So, seeing how that is also a beacon light you can also make that either stay steady, blink fast or blink slow. I did the blinking stuff with all the various parts, it's just kind of annoying. I think it works better if it just spins around that way you can pay close attention to the red boxes which are obviously the enemy and the closer they get to the center of the circle the closer they are to you.
@arata Your welcome,this is a fantastic build. I may try it today in VR. I love how the cockpiti is more of a room or a better word "Bridge" instead of a chair.
@SkyJayTheFirst look at my post called the universal cockpit. In the cockpit look down to the left below the words "no Target"see the little box with the "greater than" sign the "triangle and the "less than" sign in the middle ? This is the box I'm speaking of and this is a box I modified by going into it's raw programming
@BlackjackEagle @RaddieB
+1@EasternPatrick @winswings @IceCraftGaming
@INDOMIEGORENG28 yes, sorry it took me so long to answer you I'm in the US and I went to sleep
@RaddieB thank you, did you fly it and check out the new instrument panel and the handling, make sure you don't throttle up to 100% while you're taking off. And thanks for the compliment I love your original plane.
@IceCraftGaming you're right, I think I will slow it down, I was just amazed how well it handled and turned under those speeds
@winswings You know what, you make a good point. maybe I will throttle back the in engine a little bit. I guess a pilot shouldn't have to be worried that the plane is going to spin out of control if he tries to take off too quickly. Lol you know how to make that adjustment don't you ? @WinsWings that's a great idea. I hit the side of an aircraft carrier with my Cirrus until I fixed the windshield. Lol
@IceCraftGaming lol

@X99STRIKER it was removed. And I completely agree.
+1@Rjenteissussy Thanks ! Lol
@WinsWings yes you may post anything you like. I'm easy.....lol...
+1First time I flew this aircraft I did a Carrier landing and caught the 1rst wire. Wow this flies nice !

@factorization20 I hope you like my Beechcraft King 250. It's my first attempt at creating a replica. Please see your credit in the description.
@WinsWings I cannot wait to show you the plane I've been working on for the past week. The Beechcraft King 250 dual prop
+1@WinsWings I'm going to post a windscreen for you. It's pretty good, it's 3 wide and 3 tall. But I knocked 50% of the bottom off of all the parts. It should be pretty easy to manipulate. Windscreens I've given me a just a complete headache, so I hope this helps.
