@ILoveAirplanes that is a BEAR ! ! Try using the 50% fill on the round hollow fuselage. This will cut the top off the round hollow fuselage. Next do the same thing with the clear round hollow fuselage. Take the clear round hollow fuselage and flip it over to put it on top of the solid hollow round fuselage. As you get closer to the nose, make the glass part smaller and smaller. Another really good thing to do is find aircraft that other people have done, take them apart and see how they did it, that's how I learned. And believe me I still believe I suck at it.
@winswings @icecraftgaming @Brazuca New aircraft with better colors and simplified cockpit. Unfortunately I can't do anything about the part count. Sorry.... :(. Z
@guyfolk Hey,check out this new aircraft. This is the one with the original colors. I removed a bunch of stuff that was on the original cockpit and only added switches to turn on the engines and the Jet Assist Take Off. And your radar with my spinning needle.
@GuyFolk I found the original cockpit with the original colors. I have everything put together except for the nose cone. The colors look amazing you're going to like it. Maybe....... Lol......Z.....p.s.. I also got rid of all the extra bologna, just added your radar with my spinning twist on it.
@ILoveAirplanes Anytime my friend, let me know what you think of guyfolks HUD. Just one of the many things he has, is a small square that will chase the aircraft around inside of his HUD then when it locks up a red diamond appears inside the small square over the top of the enemy aircraft. It's like a real military heads up device, it's crazy. That plane is a ball to fly
@guyfolk has some incredible aircraft. The guy is nothing short of a genius in my opinion. That, and if you ask him he will help you with anything and give you great advice. A sample of his work would be X-02S Strike Wyvern ''Archange" when you fly it look very closely at the work he did with the heads up display. It's simply incredible.
@ILoveAirplanes You made the list. Congratulations ! Tell your friends ! LOL Please visit my homepage and look at the last name on the list. Lol but in all seriousness, it's very nice to meet you my name is Zaine. Some really great friends of mine you should meet are @winswings @IceCraftGaming @guyfolk
@User11765543 I'm not sure about the number of points but every time I get an upvote you automatically get points for this as well. I won't work on a plane unless I think it's a fantastic plane
@ILoveAirplanes sorry about the number of parts. I really am. I found the cockpit and loved it. Especially the overhead with the switches, APU, fire, fuel pumps. Once I saw the bleed valves I knew I wanted to build a plane for this cockpit. I actually removed a number of items from the cockpit. Whoever worked on it had layered up many of the panels, laying gauges over the top of one another and it was just a mess. So I removed probably a 100 parts then began adding my own touches like my spinning radar and horizontal sweeping radar that I created a few months ago. Usually my builds are under 500 parts and some are under 250. So believe me I feel your pain.
@WinsWings Your right Win, I saw this plane on Air warriors quite a few times and I really like this aircraft too. Even though Charles Lindbergh was a civilian, he was allowed to fly this aircraft on some bombing runs and train assaults. (I'm pretty sure it was this aircraft without going into my DVR double-checking)
@User11765543 please download and tell me what you think. Easy on the turn and burn, don't let the plane roll over on you. It's still controlable. You will see... Z
@GuyFolk That is really smart regarding the colors ! I will do that from now on. I'm using a tablet so only on the VERY last update was I able to manipulate things like Metallic, smooth, emission and hex code in paint mode. Earlier I was just stuck with basic colors and couldn't change them at all unless I was working on somebody else's design. (Which made no sense) I finished the P-38. It is certainly not a replica but it's the best I can do with my tablet and at my skill level.
@IceCraftGaming Thanks ice I appreciate your time ! It's difficult to fly everybody's planes. They come out so fast so when you take the time to fly my aircraft I it means a bunch to me. Watching "Air Warriors" (love this program) each episode is a different aircraft. So now I am building a P38. It was the plane that took out admiral Yamamoto of the Japanese imperial Navy April 18th 1943. He Masterminded Pearl harbor and is arguably the best military strategist in the Japanese military at the time.
@PlaneFlightX @Winswings @IceCraftGaming Guys mating the cockpit and the rest of the aircraft was such a huge PAIN. Win,I took your advice and added 1/2 degree of rear trim to the horizontal stabilizer for level flight. My latest gadget is a warning light for when you leave your landing gear down.
@guyfolk Granted I'm new, (about 3 months) but Your builds are so far beyond me, it's silly. I feel like I'm building planes out of popsicle sticks compared to your designs. Lol My only defense is all of my planes are made on an Android tablet... Lol (fyi this is a very labored compliment). Lol Z
@BlackjackEagle I'm SO glad you took my advice and saw the scene. The movie is a satire on WW3. It's an older movie but depending on what you think is funny, the movie is hilarious !.... Your friend. Z
@GuyFolk I agree with everything you said. The colors of the cockpit just got away from me. I would change one color and then my wings would turn a different color. I'm being a little dramatic but after a while I was burned out on the project and just wanted to publish and stop working on it. So, I painted all the trim in the cockpit chrome. As far as the hideaway radar, I know it's cheesy but I've never seen it done. To me part of building these aircraft is to have fun and add some sort of silliness. Thank you for giving it an overall positive rating and I will take your advice into future projects... Z
@winswings Win, I finally posted this. Press the two red buttons in the lower center console to turn on engines one two and three four respectively. Next press jato. Then flip the switch in the center of the pilot's console above the artificial horizon for radar.
@DARZAVIATIONOFICIAL I know, I'm sorry. I was working with a really sophisticated cockpit and that's where all the parts came from. But I do have another plane coming up with real windows ! Lol
@winswings I've seen your work @Otana , it is Sick (wonderful) I can't wait to see more.
+1@CarrotSlicingCompanyCat @WinsWings @BRAZUCA Guys,Thank so very much for spotlighting my Cobra. It means a lot to me. Z

+1@guyfolk Hey bossman what do you think of the colors in the cockpit now. They may not be perfect but I think they're better.......

@ILoveAirplanes what particularly are you having a problem with. Please be specific so I can help you
@proctor @BlackjackEagle @BeastHunter better colors in cockpit, much more simplified , less busy.
