I'm confused about what you actually asking but you can always make custom engine nozzle that behave as you want it.
I noticed that in sp as you throttle up the nozzle get closeed but in another game i played "HAWAK" this is reversed

As far as I know all missiles in game only need direct line of sight no matter of aspect
