Make sure they’re disconnected before you slice.

Take a hollow fuselage, use the slicing thing at the bottom set to about 70%
Then take another hollow fuselage,line it up with the first one, than slice the top to about 30% nudge it so that it’s directly under the first.
You’ll have to ask someone else about how to make it open.
I can show you if you need.
