congrats ED! honestly...im old and grizzled so when i got on here i thought you were a young arrogant kid but as the year went on i witnessed not only what a talented builder you are but also how much you help others. I think youre going to do a great job as moderator and congrats again!
We are in the same boat....i havent been able to build anything for awhile. I am building for another challenge now though. Besides challenges Ive lost all interest.... but i think part of the reason is as we learn to build better we put more pressure on ourselves to build at a acceptable level....i have a lot of little builds that i prob wont finish because they didnt pan out....
Thanks for putting this challenge on it was fun and i know it was a lot of work for you, i have already started my entry for your new challenge.

Just a friendly reminder its always nice to give credit to the original builder. Even the person before you failed to do so. Its a cool build and i think the builder deserves credit.

on IOS... It flies pretty good, it responds really well to pitch and roll. When i tested it on my ipad it couldnt hover in place, when i throttled up it moves fwd. I havent taken it apart but i would guess the vtol tab controls a vtol engine so i guess it could hover that way. either way i think its a very cool build, great job. ill blue link a vtol build of mine, prob the build im most proud of, check it out when u have time. great job! i think with a few changes this could be even better! MY THOUGHTS FOR IMPROVEMENT
1. Change the vtol rotation from pitch to vtol, it makes it troublesome to hold pitch down to move fwd. Or use trim since trim isnt really a factor with this craft.
2. Add some more detail to engines, intakes, etc...
3. use scaled weapons so they fit a lil better.
these are just my opinion im not saying im right but these are a few changes i would make.
Im in a building rut, i have started half dozen different builds and i dont want to finish any of them lol..... maybe a big bowl of wheaties will help :-D

I agree.. I think one of the main reasons some of this stuff goes on is because there is a wide age spectrum here...you can quickly discern this after looking through a few posts or comments. It goes both ways.... "some" younger users have their way about them, and "some" elder users have their way.... like any relationship people interpret things differently and butt heads about the dumbest poo....And.....there's also language barrier issues.....people may use a translator app that does a really poor job and may actually come across as inappropriate or aggressive....I forget quite often that we are not all in the US....Just my humble grizzled opinions...
Actually....I forgot it may be called something else outside the US. A intercooler here in the US is typically used for super or turbocharged engines...The radiator is the source for cooling down naturally aspirated engines. just fyi... LOL this is pretty good though either way !

Just my opinion but I think FGW2014 is one of the brightest rising users...yes he recently hit plat but his builds are incredibly unique and detailed.
