The Chicago fire for example! It seemed hopeless, but the firefighters raced their pump horses and went right at the fires! They attacked the roaring flames without hesitation!
Just imagine... a fire in a living room, causing a flashover, the people run as fast as they can away from the fire, but the firefighters run as fast as they can at the fire! They fight forest fires, building fires, use the jaws of life to free victims of a car crash, and a lot of other things. Now, imagine trying to recover from the burns and the traumatizing scenarios.... They don't do it for money, they do it for us.
