Plus for short haul you better use propeller aircraft for example the ATR-45, considering Simpleplanes map is infinitely small (only small island around 35km apart) then you should make short haul
Sure, but depends, if you wanna use short haul aircraft then use 2 engine, if its a long haul aircraft then use 4 if you don't have enough power to use 2 (long haul 787 Dreamliner use 2 engine!), medium haul use 2 engine, if you want to experiment use 3 or 5 engine but i don't think airline gonna buy a plane with 5 engine because inconvenient and honestly quite a bit of waste on resource and fuel, if you can use 2 engine that efficient with enough thrust then why use 3, 4 or 5 engine, even 6 engines for Antonov An-225 Mriya
To edit fuel: find a jet engine, open overload, find input, find max, change it from 1 to 0.25 (for ¼ fuel use) and then goes to whatever the name is (i forgot), find power multiplier, change the multiplier from 1 to 4 so you produce the same thrust as normal engine, note: its quiet like very-very quiet, even quieter with input Max 0.125, good stealth strategy :)

Note that what i said is only true when the AI is in Agressive, if its on Normal state it will not kamikaze you until you got a message that the ai has detected a missile lock when you target the AI with missile, after it show that message the effect is irreversible
All planes in SP will kamikaze even with the biggest and laziest plane you have, they will not do kamikaze, its trying to shoot you if you're a ground target and will go around to strafe back when its altitude is less than 0.1km 0.1miles and 0.1nm im not sure relative to your altitude, say you're in the water 6 feet high then that plane will not go near that 0.1 point added with your altitude

@AWESOMENESS360 there's a use of the so called "submarine carrier" in the world war, notably the ship would surface and then launch the plane with a launcher, to retrieve the plane it uses float (the plane use floats) this were not really that optimized and a little bit on the inconvenience side so it was discontinued and opted for surface aircraft carrier, good idea though, im always imagine one of my imaginary country have a submarine that is 1000m long and 300m wide, it will use a double submarine system sort of things and have a deck in the middle with island in both of the sub, i called it Navarone Class Super Submarine or Submersible Aircraft Carrier, It'l use big batteries that can last for 1 year per charge to full capacity and fully electric so the noise is minimized, the shape of the submarine is also altered to make it stealth, even though i doubt you could hide an underwater airstrip

@Legolover2019 Style of the wheel doesn't affect handling, they have the same hitbox no matter how the wheel style looks, probably better with off road style because the feel of already familiar with some cars in this game that use offroad style wheel
