Sorry, but there's not a lot of flame tbh. Could've had more work on it, could've been better. The Mach diamonds were kind of cool, maybe cooler if accompanied by a bigger flame.
SFX - 7/10
Generic sound, but it captures the feeling of engaging the afterburner. And of course, it fades out when you disengage it. Could've been better, but you definitely did great on this.
Fuel Consumption - 3/10
I am really sorry for this, but it consumes a lot of fuel on dry throttle like there's no tomorrow. Consumes EVEN more on wet throttle.
Overall conclusion:
Bland afterburner, decent sound effect, horrible fuel consumption rate, could've done more work but you get a 14/30.
Footnote:
I think you really did a decent job on this, but honestly it doesn't hold up to the feeling. I hope you take this as criticism to be able to improve, not an insult to degrade your efforts. You could do one more submission, give it another shot and improve this afterburner! I allow 2 entries per player.
Liked the shock diamonds. Afterburner is a little too long though. And I like how there's no flame coming out when the afterburner isn't engaged. A tad bit of realism there. Although, the mix of the blue and red didn't look very blended together unlike a real afterburner.
SFX - 13/15
Sounded like a high-bypass turbofan. It sounds a bit unrealistic without afterburners engaged. Also, afterburning turbofans tend to slowly tone down their loudness after disabling the afterburner, unlike yours in which the afterburning sound stopped immediately.
On the topic of the afterburner sound, it's exactly like an afterburning turbojet. A bit too loud, but it catches the exact sound I expected.
Overall conclusion:
Afterburning high-bypass turbofan, a bit unrealistic but you still get a 23/30.
Footnote:
Doesn't look like it has realistic fuel consumption. Maybe I'll think about banning unlimited fuel for this challenge shortly. But you still get what's promised, an upvote and a spotlight.
The MiG-21 is just a placeholder. You can totally use anything other than it! It has to be below than 400 parts even with the afterburner combined though.
If you're lazy however, you could just pick where my MiG-21 left off.
In one of those gifs, I saw a convoy. Where exactly does that specific convoy spawn? I know it's somewhere in Wright Airport but I can't get a grasp on it.
@ReinMcDeer....shit. you beat me to it.
insane
Also, make this a toggleable option. Not everyone probably likes this, so it'd be great if you could enable or disable it.

Unlisted helps greatly with this.
To add to this, add the ability to set forum and video posts to unlisted.

@MrShenanigansSP Jesus.
How many parts?
@Hazerz Also, that's just a rough estimate of when it'll end. It could change, depending on what happens to me as time passes.
not mobile friendly :(
@Firgreen Tbh I wish. I might have regretted buying a tablet instead of a laptop.
Is it okay to use high physics? I mean, my device can definitely take a beating. Cool carrier
Can I use other's builds and put it in this challenge? Like, builds that aren't from this challenge.
A bit of an update:
Don't use unlimited fuel. I'll also rate your afterburner based on fuel consumption.

The cropped out text in the picture says "Also, you can use anything." I don't know how it cropped out.
Can I take a replica and add a twin-boom to it? Like, a MiG-19. Yes, another MiG.
:(
A bit late mate. They're called AlphaTauri now.
@Darg12e Oh also, can you give me a link to the mod?
Oh boy. I can finally recreate what went down (or up?) in Nam's skies.
@GuyFolk Editing the connection manually? Hold on, how do you do that?
Also, please don't take this as a sort of insult to vehicles in SP.
I think they're great, and they could even be better without this problem!
American Stuka when?
@SkyJayTheFirst He did the interior, can you not see? The original doesn't have an interior.
oh my god this is amazing
@Darg12e Oh I see then

How about maybe Alcatraz Island?

God I love this movie. Like, seriously.
Will you make the NA?
Not mobile friendly :(
Low physics gets the landing gear all janky and messed up.
A.. A delta Phantom? Good lord.

@WaitBreadIsntAfruit Uhh... Does that require a beefy PC?
Sick
Yeah I did @Bellcat
What did you use to improve the look of those screenshots?
Thing does a wheelie when I jack up the power to 600hp. What a sleeper
Hey @Vincent can you change the auto credit of this post to Maywar Open Car Show?
Also, how do I fix the auto credit?
I want it to redirect to the Maywar Open Car Show
@Sakorsky A fiery mess of cough syrup and other crap. Only real ones can consume it without impending death.
@FuzzyAircraftProductions Err, no. I meant like adding 4 wheels to a spatula and making it drive.
Also, this is great timing for me. My exams are about to conclude in a few hours, and I can finally be a free man and play some more SimplePlanes.
Also, since you said anything except an actual car, can i use an everyday object and add 4 wheels to it?
