Maybe we should lower it to one.
So that you really have to think about what you want to upload that day.
It would encourage quality.
What I'm saying is three is just fine. It could be worse.
Actually, the altitude record for an air-breathing jet engine aircraft is held by the MiG-25M at 123,520ft, though it was in a zoom climb. The SR-71 maintains the record for highest sustained level flight.
Good build btw.
I like to camp the newest section and give upvotes to up-and-comers who deserve them for quality builds that don't get attention because they have very few followers.
@JackAlpha26 Yeah. It's all in the XML. I used the mass of the 30mm DUP round for this thing. It doesn't really matter too much though since there is no drop from gravity and plane parts are destroyed from one hit regardless.
@DuckMintnewprofile And those pilots never train or take the planes on check-flights? The chances the flight was training is 100% (EVERY flight is technically practice after all)
Probably a training mission. Pilots need a lot of practice, especially military pilots, and no two training flights are the same. I work on an air base, and pretty much 80% of all the planes that go up are local training flights.
Try playing around with exotic wing designs. Flying wings, deltas, canards, biplanes, forward sweeps, variable sweeps. Try getting a real feel of how mass and lift interact and discover all the little intricacies of wing design. That's always fun.

When I think of planes to build, I come up with a single idea for a feature or gizmo, then build an entire plane around that single idea.
No shame in building a simple plane in SimplePlanes.
Nowadays everyone touts the magics and wonders of XML modding, and scoff at the idea of building a plane that doesn't have modeled wings, mechanical landing gear, a fully-immersive cockpit view, and a fully-modeled stewardess handing out little drinks to the passengers.
ccooper has the right idea. All simple planes, all the time. He is the purest SimplePlanes builder out there. His builds really capture the spirit of SimplePlanes I think.
@DisferGoatz Take a look at This
Anything you recommend changing? Or should I post this as the final version?
I'm not very good with liveries and paintjobs, so this was the best I could do.
@DisferGoatz It's coming along. As it is now, it's fully flight capable. All that's left is cosmetic enhancements, tuning the engines for realistic performance, and painting it.
@JoddyFubuki788 Asking for upvotes is against the rules I think.
But I'll give your catalog a look, and vote the ones that I like.
@Sam3232 Thank you!
@Treadmill103 @SHCow @JoddyFubuki788 Thanks.
@Liquidfox Thanks!
@MasterMindIndustriesAndAviationCorporation I could live with that.
@Liquidfox Thank you!

@bjac0 Thanks!
Love the suspension.

link two
Two biplanes of mine using two different strut methods. Reverse-engineer them to see how they work.
Feather
One of my most underrated builds, honestly. Handles great with a joystick.
I play other games when I get bored.
I'm not exclusive to SP.
@ACmaxout Glad you like it.

@JackAlpha26 It's such a beast. I put three of them on my Earthsalter.
I'll enter
my P-38L Lightning
I love the feel of the sun on my skin, and the sight of a beautiful blue sky.
@Xogo Thanks! But you should check out the release version. This one is more of a trophy.

The P-32 was an Italian medium bomber.
This is a P-38.
Pretty good.

I'm always watching the newest section.
I'm a sniper, and upvotes are my bullets.

Weird and cool.
NEVER GIVE UP
gratz on gold btw
You know you're happy when your exclamation points escape the window.

@OtterOfToast Indeed!
F-15
:^)
What if you were awarded 1 point for every download?
That seems pretty fair.
@OtterOfToast A fully-loaded Galaxy weighs in excess of 420 tons. You would need some seriously heavy-duty rotors to lift that straight up!
A vertically-mirrored plane that can flown, landed, and taken off either right-side up or up-side down.
@Treadmill103 Thank you.
Mission accomplished! Hope it was all to your liking. I also uploaded the alternate livery because I liked it so much. Two for the price of one!
@IndianaBones Thank you!
Might want to kick up the horsepower on the engines a little bit. That second fuselage kind of drove down the horsepower/weight ratio a little.
Built on request of user @DisferGoatz
@DisferGoatz Alright. Going live shortly.
@DisferGoatz I also made a Maritime Patrol and Rescue version. Which I feel is the better-looking of the two liveries.
What do you think?

@DisferGoatz Polair
Scratching my head, trying to figure out how to do the black and yellow here.
@DisferGoatz I'll probably post it the moment I finish it, so no idea what time.
@DisferGoatz Also, which livery should I try to emulate?
@DisferGoatz It's coming along. As it is now, it's fully flight capable. All that's left is cosmetic enhancements, tuning the engines for realistic performance, and painting it.
@DisferGoatz Do you have any idea which direction the three props turn?
Also, status update!
@SimpleTechAndResearch Multi-barreled, hand-cranked Gatling guns, however, were around as early as the American Civil War.
@DisferGoatz Well, I was working all day, so I just got back to it. I'll try to have it done before I go to bed tonight at the earliest.
