  • Delete? 9.8 years ago

On your game: go to the load menu, load the one you want to delete, and hit the "x" that appears next to the name (I'm on Android, this may vary for other systems)

On the website: press the arrow next to the number of downloads on your plane, and then press delete on the resulting drop-down menu

  • Eldar Nightwing 9.8 years ago

@CTRacerX2 thanks for the upvote! I think I sent you a message on Hangouts, did it work?

  • changes to wings thickness? 9.8 years ago

I know it's only a workaround, but you can clip fuselage sections in to your wings to give the appearance of a thicker wing, and it will still work fine

  • Invisible walls in the bridge beetween bandit and murphy 9.8 years ago

Was it the Bandit one or the Murphy one you had trouble one? I've driven across both before, and I just tested Murphy a moment ago

  • New Air physics model? 9.8 years ago

@Oicraftian ahh that's fair. I did it in a plane, because I wanted to build a cold-war-style spyplane that was actually usable at that sort of height. Was the missile controllable?

  • Android user 9.8 years ago

Can confirm the above suggestions, I have way less than the minimum specs for Android and manage alright with everything on low/off except physics, so long as my planes aren't too big

  • New Air physics model? 9.8 years ago

@Oicraftian it's not too difficult, just be sure to bring plenty of power and lift.

  • What's the difference between low and high physics settings? 9.8 years ago

This is total speculation on my part, but I would imagine that it changes the number of physics calculations performed each second. Let's say low = 1 per second and high = 3 per second. If we look at a specific wing, the game will calculate the forces it produces and it affected by that many times per second. Normally low physics will be alright, but sometimes only updating the forces once per second results in things being missed or otherwise becoming inaccurate. Sometimes you find that planes can lose wings under hard turning more easily on low physics, which I think is because of this - the wing has longer to move under a certain applied force before the next calculation is applied, so by the time it has, it's far enough out office to break instead of springing back.

But yeah I'm not a dev, so I really am just guessing here

  • Bobbitworm 9.8 years ago

    @Ctracerx2 sorted!

  • Mist common error when building aircraft's. 9.8 years ago

Honestly if it's to solve pitching up or down, you're best off using the different wing types. Changing the CoM and CoL affects the stability of the plane, while wing types don't.

  • Bobbitworm 9.8 years ago

@Ctracerx2 alright so I can't get it on my phone, so it'll have to wait until I'm on my laptop. It's currently quarter to three in the morning here, so I'll catch you on a more useful device tomorrow!

  • Bobbitworm 9.8 years ago

@Ctracerx2 as in Google hangouts? I've not used it before but I'm sure I can work it out haha

  • Lol 9.8 years ago

@XVIindustries Oh lord I remember that chimney one - somewhere up around Aberdeen, I think? Dire stuff, that. Also, you might wanna get the swearing censored before a mod spots it ;)

  • Bye for now 9.8 years ago

    Good luck!

  • SP Movie 9.8 years ago

Fair enough. You're welcome to any of my planes if you have a use for them - no offence taken if not, of course. Unfortunately I can't really help beyond that, I can't play above the lowest graphics settings on my poor old phone

  • SP Movie 9.8 years ago

Is this connected to KingDeadshot's upcoming trailer?

  • Lol 9.8 years ago

Regarding shop puns: there's an Indian takeaway near me called McDonner's. Also, glad to see that the weather forecast shows Glasgow being rained on. Again.

  • What happened to Hypnotoad? 9.8 years ago

I guess he just stopped playing. Everyone gets bored of stuff sometimes, no matter how good it is

  • JF-AdvanX5 mkIV 9.8 years ago

Sorry it took me so long to get around to checking out your planes. I'm glad I did, though, because this is awesome. Looks great, and very controllable. I really like what you did with the roll surfaces, in particular. Only things I changed were reducing the range of motion of the pitch surfaces and inverting the roll controls (both just because it was easier for me), audit flew wonderfully

  • Bobbitworm 9.8 years ago

@Ctracerx2 hey, sorry for the late reply, I've been a little swamped with uni this week. I'm definitely up for working together on something! Did you have anything particular in mind?

  • Saab 21 9.8 years ago

@DeezDucks don't be daft mate, your one is look pretty sweet! The Shinden is one of the best-looking planes of the era, in my book, but I'll always have a soft spot for dual fuselages

  • Sa.29 Martlet 9.8 years ago

@DeezDucks I didn't, actually, I just named this after the heraldry thing. Anyway some of our names were brilliant - we had the Spitfire, the Hurricane, the Tempest etc. I mean, we also had the Blenheim, but nobody gets it right every time

  • I'm making a tiny car series, what cars should I make? 9.8 years ago

    @icecoldlava not with time travel!

@Coen1888 a Morgan Aero 8 would be pretty sweet

  • Glitch that needs fixing 9.8 years ago

The placement of the intakes has an effect too. If they aren't clearly exposed to the air flowing by, they don't work as well

  • Emerald Dusk 9.8 years ago

Sweet, it's like the big brother of my tiny little thing haha! I'll try this out when I get a chance later

  • One Question 9.8 years ago

@KingDeadshot yeah, no disrespect intended to you super-successful users, but I think it's a good idea. Gotta give us mere mortals a chance haha

  • One Question 9.8 years ago

The devs pick them, basically. I think I remember some rule about gold users and above not being allowed on the featured page, but that could be wrong

  • please help 9.8 years ago

What happens when you click the download button on a plane's page?

  • Sa.8 Jerboa 9.8 years ago

@DeezDucks tag me on it when it's up, I'm intrigued

  • entry 9.8 years ago

Wait we're allowed more than one of the small engines? I should have read the challenge properly...

  • FUTURE UPDATE POST IDEAS 9.8 years ago

You're probably better off looking in to modding for this. The reddit wiki is the best place to start.

  • RocketLL do u hate me? 9.8 years ago

@ProKillaV12 just having a look at each of your profiles, is all. The credit thing, I dunno what was going on with that, but I don't think it's worth worrying yourself over. It's in the past now. Thanks for the upvote on my Bobbitworm, by the way!

  • RocketLL do u hate me? 9.8 years ago

I very much doubt s/he does. As far as I can tell the only interaction you've had is Rocket telling you to give credit on one of your planes, and telling an old account of yours to stop spamming. Neither of these things are anything personal, just mod duties.

  • Eldar Nightwing 9.8 years ago

@KingDeadshot sweet! Feel free to use it however you fancy. Also, thanks for the vote!

  • Off-Topic Question 9.8 years ago

@IStoleYourMeme whilst you're totally right, it actually doesn't change the answer from nineteen days. If the lily is 1 lake big on day 20, it was 0.6666... lakes big on day 19, and 0.4444... on day 18, so it still reached the halfway point on the 19th day

  • Collaborative Buiding Project 18 9.8 years ago

@AeroEngineering it has been suggested, but I reckon someone else ought to kick it off this time. I think @XVIdarklithium was planning on doing one

  • THROW CHALLENGE 9.8 years ago

@TheJohnnyMan hey thanks for the prize dude, I didn't realise I had done well enough for that haha

  • Is It Possible? 9.8 years ago

Delphinus' Golden Wings and Platinum Wings. They're both enormous flying wings, which would definitely do the job

  • Feedback? 9.8 years ago

@DeezDucks Aye but the ones you mentioned mostly aren't. Doesn't mean you shouldn't build originals! It's just that they'll generally get less interest. The Panthers did pretty well when you add them all together, though.

  • Please make a location for the USS Jundroo 9.8 years ago

See it as a challenge - you need to get good enough to earn the location!

  • Feedback? 9.8 years ago

I've got the general impression that replicas are more likely to do well than originals, unless the original is really unusual or impressive. I understand that, though; the original doesn't really mean anything to everyone else, but the replica does, because some people will already have an interest in that aircraft,

  • Is It Possible? 9.8 years ago

@Dullwolf haha, glad you liked it. But yes, it is possible, and I'm sure a better one than mine could be made by spending more than two minutes on it

  • Collaborative Buiding Project 18 9.8 years ago

I'm off of the game for the weekend and when I come back there's another six generations! This looks awesome, I can't believe how well this whole idea turned out

  • FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CAN SOMEONE MAKE A 7 CYLINDER RADIAL ENGINE 9.8 years ago

@XVIindustries if nobody has done it after a few requests, that would suggest that the fun of it isn't enough.

  • FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CAN SOMEONE MAKE A 7 CYLINDER RADIAL ENGINE 9.8 years ago

Maybe you should offer something in return? Just demanding that people do work for you isn't really much good

  • Is It Possible? 9.8 years ago

I just made a crude one to find out. I put engines on the end of extremely swept wings, so that the CoM was behind the end of the fuselage, and then added more steeply-swept wing to the outside of the engines to get the CoL behind the CoM. It looks pretty stupid and flies with all the grace of a drunk walrus, but it's doable.

  • Just an update suggestion. 9.8 years ago

If you do any sort of XML modding it should be possible to get any colour you want, they're all listed in hex format near the bottom. Disclaimer: I haven't tested this

  • Sa.30 Martlet 9.8 years ago

I'm flattered that you've made something based on my plane! I'm not able to test it just now, but I will when I can

  • Sa.29 Martlet 9.8 years ago

@Dullwolf that makes sense, my phone would have a stroke on high physics. Your version sounds much funnier hahaha
