@AviownCorp ahh, my mistake, I misread your post. Yeah, non-replicas don't have so much of an excuse unless there was some other feature that they really wanted to include
@AviownCorp sometimes keeping a replica accurate makes good performance more or less impossible. So long as it is at least flyable I don't mind, though, it doesn't have to be especially fast or agile
No , the only permanent effect is that the images on the plane's page don't look as nice. If somebody downloads it and runs their game on high settings, the plane will look just the same no matter what setting it was built on
@Tribaldragon1 @FIRESHOTER @PuhBuhGuh @Wahoo12 I'm afraid I'm not doing requests just now, I don't really have the time. Like I said to XVI up above, though, you're all 100% welcome to us this as the base for your own builds. It's nice to see that we have have such a musical community, though
Thank you very much to everybody who upvoted @goboygo1 @jheffernan @Wahoo12 @Kimo @FlOu @SpartanAirplanes @bobthetitan123 @PlanesAndThings @RABpilot @JS311
@XVIindustries yeah, the PC one has the option to move parts by tiny increments with the number pad, and it totally ignores snapping to specific points while still retaining a functional connection between the parts. You can clip stuff or even leave open air between parts, it's amazing
@XVIindustries yeah, I'm a major Epi fan, they build some great stuff without the hideous Gibson prices. Regarding the asymmetry, I don't fancy doing it, but you can use this as a start if you want
@XVIindustries I'm not sure how to make a single cutaway design work, simply because of the asymmetry. I wanted to build a Swingster, but didn't because of that. You're welcome to use this as a base if you want to try, though
@XVIindustries hollowbodies will always win over my heart haha. If you're considering an ES-355, take a look at the Epiphone Swingster - it's my main instrument, and way better than the Epiphone name would suggest. Other than that, thanks for the vote!
@icecoldlava is right, that usually works. I hate that my most recent build has this issue and also has way too much clipping and XML editing to mirror properly.
@AviownCorp not just that, being able to put fuel almost anywhere on the plane, and supplement it with dead weight if needed, turned a whole load of impossible builds in to brilliant fliers
It is, but that's part of the challenge! Sometimes XML editing is necessary, and sometimes it is literally impossible, but normally there's a way to make it work. Fuselage sections made it so much easier
@CarterIndustries sadly homersdonut seems to have just kinda vanished from the site a few weeks back. I sent him a plane to tweak, apparently he nearly had it finished, but I guess he lost interest in the game or something
It's just a way of saying "this is good, nice work, more people should see it". The site used to let people rate planes out of 5 stars, but pretty much everyone used the 5 star option or nothing, so it got replaced with the upvote system we have now
@RBEEDUDE1 ahh fair enough. Certain elements, yeah, but it's unusual for me to specifically think "yeah I'll make this look like an SU-47" or something like that. I just like certain features like forward-swept wings, cranked deltas, tailless designs and so on, so those things influence my favourite planes as well as my builds
@XVIindustries seriously man the mods here can't do anything about what happens at everyplay, but Latent is right, your best bet is to just not respond to him. You have control over your own actions, no matter what you say about being friendly and British
Post a comment here so we can see!
FIXED VERSION HERE

Depends on the plane. If it's a replica then looks usually come first, otherwise performance
@JovianPat it can be made to on SP!
No , the only permanent effect is that the images on the plane's page don't look as nice. If somebody downloads it and runs their game on high settings, the plane will look just the same no matter what setting it was built on
@VikDesigns cheers dude
Link is broken mate

@DeezDucks I'll be looking forward to it, you build cool stuff already
Thank you very much to everybody who upvoted @goboygo1 @jheffernan @Wahoo12 @Kimo @FlOu @SpartanAirplanes @bobthetitan123 @PlanesAndThings @RABpilot @JS311
@BritishNarwhal hey man I made you this. No offence taken if you don't want to use it, though
The beta has everything in it, so I would assume the full release will too
@Linorocket thanks for the vote
Thank you to all of: @dsr1aviation @PhilipTarpley @Misha1004 @Nickasaurus
@XVIindustries yeah, the PC one has the option to move parts by tiny increments with the number pad, and it totally ignores snapping to specific points while still retaining a functional connection between the parts. You can clip stuff or even leave open air between parts, it's amazing
@dsr1aviation cheers dude
@Allstar haha, thanks!
Having just started using the PC version, even just having the nudge function would solve 90% of the problems that mobile users face
I sexually identify as an attack helicopter

What do you mean it doesn't work? It seems to be acting as normal
@icecoldlava I can do that just now if you want?
@icecoldlava is right, that usually works. I hate that my most recent build has this issue and also has way too much clipping and XML editing to mirror properly.
@AviownCorp not just that, being able to put fuel almost anywhere on the plane, and supplement it with dead weight if needed, turned a whole load of impossible builds in to brilliant fliers

Definitely a narwhal with a union jack flying from its horn
@CarterIndustries huh, so he did. Ah well, no sense in forcing it. Sorry I didn't get an entry in for you
December 17th? That's the day after my last exam, awwwww yiss
@CarterIndustries sadly homersdonut seems to have just kinda vanished from the site a few weeks back. I sent him a plane to tweak, apparently he nearly had it finished, but I guess he lost interest in the game or something
I hope these gold and platinum users are okay with being tagged in a whole bunch of stuff
Do we need to have landing gear, or are air starts acceptable?
@grizzlitn thanks for upvote!
@BestAircraft thanks! Check the successor out for the working version
@goboygo1 don't worry, nothing bad came up from a search for "dyke delta homebuilt airplane". Here it is, though
It's just a way of saying "this is good, nice work, more people should see it". The site used to let people rate planes out of 5 stars, but pretty much everyone used the 5 star option or nothing, so it got replaced with the upvote system we have now
It's almost certainly just your iPad not being able to handle such a large design. My phone does the exam same thing with more complex planes
How about this Argentinian prototype?
@Stingray cheers!
Puredeath made a guide a while back
@Exumer ahh my bad, I guess I've just not seen your posts by chance
@RBEEDUDE1 ahh fair enough. Certain elements, yeah, but it's unusual for me to specifically think "yeah I'll make this look like an SU-47" or something like that. Glad to have you back!
Notepad++ is your free friend
I don't know if this actually works, but would clipping fuselage sections over the wings maybe help? Just a guess
@XVIindustries seriously man the mods here can't do anything about what happens at everyplay, but Latent is right, your best bet is to just not respond to him. You have control over your own actions, no matter what you say about being friendly and British
It takes a little while to register, that's all
