@Brields95 whaddup. I do believe it is possible, but I've never actually done it, very little of my editing is for performance. I'm fairly sure it involves fuel tanks with odd values for their capacity, but I'll investigate
@skyhigh222 Twenty five to thirty thousand is about the fastest that I can keep it under control, but if you leave the trim alone and just let it do its own thing it spirals out of control at a totally absurd speed
Does the mobile beta not have ground targets in the missions? The Bomber Escort, Bridge Demolition, and Missile Training missions all have ground targets on PC
@AgDynamics ahh, sorry, I didn't notice. In that case it's entirely possible that your rotators are still hidden inside it, because I'm fairly sure I never removed any. Sorry for being a bit of an idiot hahaha
@JolanXBL it was really difficult in real life too, which is one of the reasons that the Pogo never made it in to full production or service. It was still done, though!
@michaelrw1 you're probably doing this already, but just to be sure: you're definitely saving the xml in your text program and then reloading the plane in the editor, right?
Alright I've not managed to cleanly transition from horizontal to vertical flight yet, but I did succeed with a small hop to test the controls. I'm getting reasonable results from using a combination of the manual prop pitch and the movable props, though, so I think it might just be doable
I'd definitely go with the P-51s, although they would take horrendous casualties. With that many of them, it's only a matter of time before someone gets lucky, and the Raptor will have to close in when the missiles run out
@Zeezal would you mind if I swapped the engines out? I reckon I can get it up to speed but I'll need to make a few changes. It's a very big plane you've built
@Zeezal the version I've got has all of the ballast engines and fuel tanks removed and can do about 400mph, but I feel like that's not really enough for a Lightning
I built this a while back specifically to take Stingray's insane creations on in a contest. It doesn't really do anything very well except for go fast in a straight line, but it is indeed very fast.
@XVIindustries yeah man, just gimme a shout if you need it. I don't mind helping people as long as they're alright towards me and always try to contribute to the community
@XVIindustries I find that the best way to counter that in SP is to find the rear stabilisers in the xml and change their values for "inverted = ". This causes them to start producing downforce instead of lift when you set them to be semi-symmetric or flat-bottom. I had to do a little more in this case, but it's almost always a good way to balance that style of plane out
@Joeseph1 it's not really fair to expect people to be nice to you if you can't respect other people's work. SirStupid didn't insult you personally, he just (rightly) called you out for stealing another user's efforts
@Hazo oooh spoilers all for me :D if I may offer a tiny bit of advice, I'd say make the wingtips one notch wider and pull the tip leading edge back by a notch too. It flies really nicely though, and it looks great too. I got it ready for action.
@RocketLL cheers dude
@The1ultimate1builder no worries dude. The varieties of English can be a bit weird at times

@Meawk video would be ideal, whether it's everyplay or your own recording
I love the way you did the wings, and the whole thing looks fantastic
@The1ultimate1builder in American English, sure. Much of the rest of the world spells it as colours, including where I'm from.
@AgDynamics ahh, sorry, I didn't notice. In that case it's entirely possible that your rotators are still hidden inside it, because I'm fairly sure I never removed any. Sorry for being a bit of an idiot hahaha

@AgDynamics I gave it thrust vectoring, of a sort. The props move with the pitch and yaw controls
@michaelrw1 you're probably doing this already, but just to be sure: you're definitely saving the xml in your text program and then reloading the plane in the editor, right?

@Hazo you need to lose the space in between them
Post here with proof if you can actually land it
@JolanXBL don't worry about it dude, I'm just trying to make sure that everyone gets to know this stuff
@CDUflappy
Look up Markdown formatting when you can't remember
@MediocrePlanes @AgDynamics I went a little further
@MrSilverWolf no idea
@MrSilverWolf the letter A, clearly
Super quick and rough, and will definitely need to be simplified for SP, but hopefully this can inspire you
@MediocrePlanes everything can land at least once...
Absolutely, @dsr1aviation hangs about here a lot and definitely knows how to get around the game
I'd definitely go with the P-51s, although they would take horrendous casualties. With that many of them, it's only a matter of time before someone gets lucky, and the Raptor will have to close in when the missiles run out
@MediocrePlanes Oboma must be President of the United Stotes of Omerica
However I do admit that I have no idea how to land it
So much for "Mediocre", this is brilliant
@Zeezal sweet, no worries dude. This is decent work for being so new, I hope you're enjoying the game
@Zeezal I've got it sorta working, but not properly yet. I'll take a longer look at it tomorrow. Sorry for the trouble
I built this a while back specifically to take Stingray's insane creations on in a contest. It doesn't really do anything very well except for go fast in a straight line, but it is indeed very fast.
@XVIindustries I don't think I have the patience left after this
@XVIindustries yeah man, just gimme a shout if you need it. I don't mind helping people as long as they're alright towards me and always try to contribute to the community
@Zeezal I'll take a look and see what I can work out
If an engine is uncovered at the front, it counts as an intake too. You could clip a J90 in to the nose and use that

You seem to like big airliners and transports, so how about the Boeing Pelican concept?
@AgDynamics literally the only YouTube URL worth remembering
I think you missed a link somewhere
Edit: ignore me, I understand now. It's cool
@Joeseph1 it's not really fair to expect people to be nice to you if you can't respect other people's work. SirStupid didn't insult you personally, he just (rightly) called you out for stealing another user's efforts
You're on Windows, so you can do it the easy way and just nudge two props in to each other, then set one to have reverse rotation
@Psych0maniacBJA here it is
@Hazo I'll be looking forward to seeing it when it's made public!
@bjac0 is a total machine posting those rules on the weaselzone planes
Props have a habit of resetting themselves if you edit them after changing values beyond what the editor lets you do, so I'll need to know:
Which prop?
Number and style of blades
Blade thickness
Power
@Hazo oooh spoilers all for me :D if I may offer a tiny bit of advice, I'd say make the wingtips one notch wider and pull the tip leading edge back by a notch too. It flies really nicely though, and it looks great too. I got it ready for action.
@Hazo ooh I like that one, I'll be looking forward to it
@LeoBrasi right, so if you go to /Android/data/com.jundroo.SimplePlanes/files/, what can you see?
