@Thetank2 as @BritishNarwhal did a solid job of explaining, all that we ask is that Jelly's followers use the tag system instead of naming planes for him. Jelly fans are absolutely welcome, just so long as there is some respect for the rest of the community and its rules.

  • warden of the sea 9.3 years ago

@adi01 there are four copies of this up on your page, not deleted. Please stop posting it.

  • Letter and Number Creation Help 9.3 years ago

@MisterMasada it's not, I just wish it was. So many posts ask about modding, and the first response always has to be "xml editing or actual mods?". Did you get on alright with making the letters, or do you need a hand?

  • J MUSTANG 9.3 years ago

@SimpleName11 basically I don't want to be extra harsh on a new user that is making an actual effort, rather than doing the same spamming as so many other YouTube fans do

  • Metrical measures option. 9.3 years ago

@CyberDyneIndustries yeah, that's one of the features in the newest steam update. I imagine it will be making its way to mobile soon.

  • J MUSTANG 9.3 years ago

@SimpleName11 I'm not going to bother someone for one letter, especially when the plane itself is actually better than the vast majority of Jelly planes. Nobody needs to use the tag, that's only to help YouTube fans get the attention of the YouTubers, and the credit thing is only a courtesy rather than a rule. I usually ask people to mention the original creator just out of respect and good manners, but the official Jundroo stance is that the successor system is credit enough.

  • Letter and Number Creation Help 9.3 years ago

@MaleticAirplanes woohoo, someone else that uses mods vs editing as a distinction!

  • Teaser 9.3 years ago

Just for future reference, you need to link to a specific image rather than an imgur page to make the in-line ones work. To get the first image, you would want this link. Since it's an album, I'd say you did the right thing with the link in the other post, though

  • beta v 0.1 9.3 years ago

@BritishNarwhal @MrSilverWolf cheers guys. It looks like Mediocre got to it all before me.

  • J MUSTANG 9.3 years ago

@SimpleName11 @bjac0 also to be fair, this actually isn't as much of a copy as it looks like. The whole thing has been rebuilt with fuselage sections instead of blocks. There was actual work done here.

  • J MUSTANG 9.3 years ago

@bjac0 @SimpleName11 hey hey hey, I know I seem to be on here way too much, but I do sometimes have a real life to attend to

  • kwebbelkop bestplane!!!!!!!!!!! 9.3 years ago

Hi maggidaggi2. You've broken a couple of rules with this one.

    • 1) Don't name planes for YouTubers. This is considered spam and is quite annoying for everyone else. Use the tag system instead if you want to mark a plane for a YouTuber's attention.

    • 2) Don't copy planes. You can upload edits, but you must make substantial changes. Changing the colours and removing a couple of parts from the nose is not enough to qualify as substantial.

  • J PLANE 9.3 years ago

    @Meawk that's fair. Sorted.

  • Some Suggestion 9.3 years ago

@Dipper I tested it for a bit, I'm definitely not seeing what you're describing, allowing for the fact that 100% pitch isn't actually quite perpendicular to the direction of rotation. You're saying that the pitch range scale has a quadratic effect on the visual position of the blades when it should be linear, right?

  • Some Suggestion 9.3 years ago

@Dipper ah yeah, sorry, you're right about the throttle governor. I guess that's because the throttle governor replaces the actual throttle controls and just tries to keep the props at a constant speed. I'm still not sure where you're getting the idea that pitch range scale doesn't have an effect, though, it really does. Pitch range scale determines the maximum deflection of the prop blades, neutral pitch determines what percentage of the pitch range scale is set when the input is set to zero.

  • real fast plane 9.3 years ago

@oscar123456799 why did you report Latent's comment?

  • hercules 9.3 years ago

@dzulfikar did Liquidfox's comment offend you somehow? I'm confused about why you reported it

  • cekirge 9.3 years ago

@halayci42 what exactly did you expect to happen when you reported the mod telling you not to abuse the report function?

  • j man jet 9.3 years ago

You should use the tag system (Jelly even mentioned it in his video) rather than talking about Jelly in the title or description.

  • Youtube-Dreagast 9.3 years ago

Hi Stormtrooper. Please don't name planes for YouTubers, this is considered spam and is against the rules. You can use the tag system instead.

  • Green jel Jet 9.3 years ago

Two things: firstly, don't name planes for YouTubers, this is considered spam and is against the rules. Also, please try to make more substantial edits or original planes, rather than just small and easy changes to the hard work of others.

  • look at him 9.3 years ago

Please don't just repaint other people's work then claim it as your own. This game is about creating, after all.

  • Some Suggestion 9.3 years ago

I can answer some of these...

3: if you're at 0% thrust, the prop will still spin because of the plane's speed. The prop is now more like a windmill than a prop.

4: pitch scale range doesn't change the default angle, it changes the maximum angle. This image shows two props; the left one has a 50% range, and the right one has a 90% range. The one on the right can achieve higher top speeds, but accelerates more slowly and requires a more powerful engine.

6: it selects them randomly, so long as the plane has less than 300 parts and... 16 control surfaces, I think? Something like that. The first time it selects any given plane, it will spend 90 seconds testing it for flyability. If the AI is able to fly the plane, it will select it again some time. If it can't, it will avoid that one.

  • Just a Question. 9.3 years ago

@SimpleName11 no, I'd actually recommend that you don't. Password reuse is pretty bad practice.

  • Just a Question. 9.3 years ago

@SimpleName11 I would imagine so. I haven't done it on iOS, so I can't say for sure, but it's worth a shot.

  • J PLANE 9.3 years ago

Hi a7mad172009. Please don't name planes for YouTubers, this is considered spam and is against the rules. You can use the tag system instead, Jelly even mentioned it in a recent video.

  • Just a Question. 9.3 years ago

@SimpleName11 just the same email address as you used to make an account here

  • PLEASE HELP ME 9.3 years ago

@Sharkie you play on iOS, right? Have you updated to the latest version? And which beta were you signed up for?

  • Just a Question. 9.3 years ago

@SimpleName11 have you got a Gravatar account? If you do, you can use any image that you have saved.

  • expload plane 9.3 years ago

@Delphirier it usually happens when someone has downloaded a plane and just started building instead of pressing "new plane". A lot of the most popular builds have some amusingly unrelated successors

  • Where are this plane??? 9.3 years ago

Looks to be this in a more yellow colour scheme

  • Female sex doll 9.3 years ago

Do not post sexual explicit material on this website. You're a fairly new account, so I'm not going to ban you. However, since this should have been common sense anyway, read the rules and follow them tightly. If you can't do this, you will not be welcome back.

  • Juicy secret, straight from the devs! 9.3 years ago

@StraightOuttaSnacks I hope, for your sake, that this is from that legendary Amazon review and not personal experience

  • Ku.48 Paralleliped 9.3 years ago

@SimpleName11 it shows me. You can kinda roughly work out how many points the mods and devs have by seeing where they place on the Users page, though

  • DIVING! Uss Thresher 9.3 years ago

You have already been told about uploading copies. Consider this your final warning before I have to impose a ban.

  • Ku.48 Paralleliped 9.3 years ago

@SimpleName11 yeah, your vote here just tipped me over to 14k

  • Ku.48 Paralleliped 9.3 years ago

@SimpleName11 oh, I what happened? It was never hugely agile, but it should have been perfectly controllable. Also thanks, I'm glad you liked the Copperbell, it was a fun one to work on

  • Ku.48 Paralleliped 9.3 years ago

@SimpleName11 it was quite hard to make this fly properly hahaha

  • Ku.48 Paralleliped 9.3 years ago

@SimpleName11 I wasn't sure what I wanted to make for the tournament, because my flying rainbow cloud had too many parts... So I made a box. A really shiny box.

  • armored U.A.V 9.3 years ago

Uploading edits is fine, but you should try to mention the original builder, especially if you have only made minor changes.

  • Eva lander 9.3 years ago

@Delphirier I learnt the rules on the rules page, where the rules are written. You should check them. I haven't forced anyone to add credit, except for cases of direct copies or circumvention of the successor system. If you disagree with any of this, tell me, but don't expect to get anywhere if you're just going to swear at me.

  • Im getting mad with @Badet 9.3 years ago

@FrankieB it's doesn't matter, just no witch hunts

  • JELLY PLANE 9.3 years ago

Please do not name planes for YouTubers. This is considered spam, and is against the rules. You can use the the tag system instead - Jelly even mentioned this recently.

  • Praying Mantis 9.3 years ago

Hi ShadowPlaneProductions. I see that this post has already been removed, so I'll just leave a quick message. You have since uploaded two originals and another minor edit, although on that one you did direct people to the original, which is good. I trust, then, that you now understand the rules and so on. Please try to keep it that way.

  • Im getting mad with @Badet 9.3 years ago

Badet was spoken to after the last post about this and hasn't done it since. I'm not sure what brought about another post on it. @KingDeadshot @Flightsonic @SimpleName11

  • I simply can't into boats. 9.3 years ago

Maletic is right about the floats - you want more buoyancy at the front and less at the back, until it nearly tips over backwards when you start. If the design allows for it, small underwater vertical stabilisers can help keep you on course too, as well as improving low speed steering if you give them rudders.

  • Eva lander 9.3 years ago

@Delphirier it doesn't really matter whether it works or not, though, the point is that the user did actually make a significant change. There's also no actual rule requiring people to credit you in the description, it's more of a courtesy thing. The successor system is what says that you built the original.

  • aircraft download 9.3 years ago

It doesn't matter, you should be able to just click the file and it will open in SP. If that doesn't work, you can either download them through Steam's browser, or you can copy the URL of the plane you want to download and then press Ctrl+L in the builder

  • XR-45 Cariburn 9.3 years ago

Please don't reupload other people's planes. It's fine upload an edit if you have made substantial changes, but as far as I can tell, you haven't made any at all here.
