  • More Glider 10.1 years ago

    @JovianPat it can be made to on SP!

  • Graphics Settings Help 10.1 years ago

    No , the only permanent effect is that the images on the plane's page don't look as nice. If somebody downloads it and runs their game on high settings, the plane will look just the same no matter what setting it was built on

  • Avro 730 10.1 years ago

    @VikDesigns cheers dude

  • Flyable ES-335 10.1 years ago

    @Tribaldragon1 @FIRESHOTER @PuhBuhGuh @Wahoo12 I'm afraid I'm not doing requests just now, I don't really have the time. Like I said to XVI up above, though, you're all 100% welcome to us this as the base for your own builds. It's nice to see that we have have such a musical community, though

  • Flyable ES-335 10.1 years ago

    @DeezDucks I'll be looking forward to it, you build cool stuff already

  • Flyable ES-335 10.1 years ago

    Thank you very much to everybody who upvoted @goboygo1 @jheffernan @Wahoo12 @Kimo @FlOu @SpartanAirplanes @bobthetitan123 @PlanesAndThings @RABpilot @JS311

  • NEW LOGO? 10.1 years ago

    @BritishNarwhal hey man I made you this. No offence taken if you don't want to use it, though

  • Question(s) for the Devs 10.1 years ago

    The beta has everything in it, so I would assume the full release will too

  • Haar Seafighter, based on Kimo's Dragboat 10.1 years ago

    @Linorocket thanks for the vote

  • Flyable ES-335 10.1 years ago

    Thank you to all of: @dsr1aviation @PhilipTarpley @Misha1004 @Nickasaurus

  • Some things 10.1 years ago

    @XVIindustries yeah, the PC one has the option to move parts by tiny increments with the number pad, and it totally ignores snapping to specific points while still retaining a functional connection between the parts. You can clip stuff or even leave open air between parts, it's amazing

  • Flyable ES-335 10.1 years ago

    @dsr1aviation cheers dude

  • Flyable ES-335 10.1 years ago

    @Allstar haha, thanks!

  • Some things 10.1 years ago

    Having just started using the PC version, even just having the nudge function would solve 90% of the problems that mobile users face

  • Boy or girl? 10.1 years ago

    I sexually identify as an attack helicopter

  • Flyable ES-335 10.1 years ago

    @XVIindustries yeah, I'm a major Epi fan, they build some great stuff without the hideous Gibson prices. Regarding the asymmetry, I don't fancy doing it, but you can use this as a start if you want

  • Flyable ES-335 10.1 years ago

    @XVIindustries I'm not sure how to make a single cutaway design work, simply because of the asymmetry. I wanted to build a Swingster, but didn't because of that. You're welcome to use this as a base if you want to try, though

  • Flyable ES-335 10.1 years ago

    @XVIindustries hollowbodies will always win over my heart haha. If you're considering an ES-355, take a look at the Epiphone Swingster - it's my main instrument, and way better than the Epiphone name would suggest. Other than that, thanks for the vote!

  • Vertical stabilizer 10.1 years ago

    What do you mean it doesn't work? It seems to be acting as normal

  • Strange roll effect 10.1 years ago

    @icecoldlava I can do that just now if you want?

  • Strange roll effect 10.1 years ago

    @icecoldlava is right, that usually works. I hate that my most recent build has this issue and also has way too much clipping and XML editing to mirror properly.

  • On Replicas 10.1 years ago

    @AviownCorp not just that, being able to put fuel almost anywhere on the plane, and supplement it with dead weight if needed, turned a whole load of impossible builds in to brilliant fliers

  • On Replicas 10.1 years ago

    It is, but that's part of the challenge! Sometimes XML editing is necessary, and sometimes it is literally impossible, but normally there's a way to make it work. Fuselage sections made it so much easier

  • NEW LOGO? 10.1 years ago

    Definitely a narwhal with a union jack flying from its horn

  • Duo Challenge! 10.1 years ago

    @CarterIndustries huh, so he did. Ah well, no sense in forcing it. Sorry I didn't get an entry in for you

  • Steam Beta Test 10.1 years ago

    December 17th? That's the day after my last exam, awwwww yiss

  • Duo Challenge! 10.1 years ago

    @CarterIndustries sadly homersdonut seems to have just kinda vanished from the site a few weeks back. I sent him a plane to tweak, apparently he nearly had it finished, but I guess he lost interest in the game or something

  • Update! 10.1 years ago

    I hope these gold and platinum users are okay with being tagged in a whole bunch of stuff

  • Competition, minimalist construction 10.1 years ago

    Do we need to have landing gear, or are air starts acceptable?

  • Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 Fagot 10.1 years ago

    @grizzlitn thanks for upvote!

  • Help needed - Avro 730 10.1 years ago

    @BestAircraft thanks! Check the successor out for the working version

  • what should i biuld guys? (O_o) 10.1 years ago

    @goboygo1 don't worry, nothing bad came up from a search for "dyke delta homebuilt airplane". Here it is, though

  • What is a upvote pls answer. 10.1 years ago

    It's just a way of saying "this is good, nice work, more people should see it". The site used to let people rate planes out of 5 stars, but pretty much everyone used the 5 star option or nothing, so it got replaced with the upvote system we have now

  • HELP MEEEEEEE 10.1 years ago

    It's almost certainly just your iPad not being able to handle such a large design. My phone does the exam same thing with more complex planes

  • Im brain washed, need ideas! 10.1 years ago

    How about this Argentinian prototype?

  • Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 Fagot 10.1 years ago

    @Stingray cheers!

  • I got my computer fixed! 10.1 years ago

    @Exumer ahh my bad, I guess I've just not seen your posts by chance

  • Haar Seafighter, based on Kimo's Dragboat 10.1 years ago

    @RBEEDUDE1 ahh fair enough. Certain elements, yeah, but it's unusual for me to specifically think "yeah I'll make this look like an SU-47" or something like that. I just like certain features like forward-swept wings, cranked deltas, tailless designs and so on, so those things influence my favourite planes as well as my builds

  • I got my computer fixed! 10.1 years ago

    Glad to have you back!

  • Any XML editor suggestions? 10.1 years ago

    Notepad++ is your free friend

  • How do I make wings not flap around 10.1 years ago

    I don't know if this actually works, but would clipping fuselage sections over the wings maybe help? Just a guess

  • The colonel has gone too far this time, 10.1 years ago

    @XVIindustries seriously man the mods here can't do anything about what happens at everyplay, but Latent is right, your best bet is to just not respond to him. You have control over your own actions, no matter what you say about being friendly and British

  • why 10.1 years ago

    It takes a little while to register, that's all

  • how to put two place in one airport (different planes) guys? 10.1 years ago

    @RedstoneArmory yeah man the only way for us to do that would be to add all of those planes in to one build, spaced out like that. You would most likely do that by making whole planes in to subassemblies

  • Haar Seafighter, based on Kimo's Dragboat 10.1 years ago

    @RBEEDUDE1 thanks for the upvote! Erm, it's thought to choose... the Su-47, Draken, and X-36 are probably my top picks though. I mostly like the crazy prototypes for testing new ideas, they're always the most interesting to me. What makes you ask?

  • Weird bug 10.1 years ago

    Which system are you on?

  • Possible changes that should (shouldn't) be added/changed 10.1 years ago

    @PuhBuhGuh more so than you might expect. The Spirit of Australia hit 300 mph under the power of a Westinghouse J34 with 3,400 lbf - nearly identical to the 3,370 lbf that our J15s get. The real advantage we have over real life if the permanently glass-smooth water with no waves

  • Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 Fagot 10.1 years ago

    @MEGANOOB yeah I'd like to do those things, but unfortunately they aren't possible as far as I know. If I had made it to a far larger scale, sure, it could probably be done, but right now circular intakes of any sort are pretty troublesome. Maybe in the next update we'll be lucky
