While these would all be nice features to have, two of them are actually already available. You can make dedicated fuel tanks with fuselage section attached to pylons. They'll still provide your engines with fuel, but can be dropped with an action group when they're empty. For you want non-vectoring nozzles for the VTOL engine, give the regular nozzles an action group, so they'll be disabled when that group is off.
Like a new map? There aren't many available just now, but the ones I can think of off the top of my head are UnstableOrbit's Soggy Isles and FullFruntall's Krazy Wurld. However, there are none available for Android that I know of.
@Flightsonic not easily. The files for the meshes are pretty well hidden away, and even if you got them out, you would have to get some sort of script to position them properly based on the xml. There's no button for "export to .stl" or anything like that
@CarlosDanger13 the important difference here is that Ducks isn't promoting his own work. He is supporting another user, not advertising his own content in the hope of attention. He also doesn't tag nearly so many people, nor does he do it nearly so often. It's used for exceptional situations.
It's funny you should ask, TheLatentImage and I are experimenting with 123D Catch just now to see if it works. It's free, so give it a shot and see if it can help
@CarlosDanger13 I can't check them out just now, because I'm trying to get a collaborative project done on time. I'll have a look afterwards. This is what I was meaning, though - tagging users that don't follow you in your builds is pretty unfair. If everyone was to do the same, any gold users would get literally thousands of notifications every day
@CarlosDanger13 I didn't, but that might just be because I get a notification anyway because it's my post. Try it on another post, and tell me on here when you've posted it so I can see if it worked
@CarlosDanger13 with all due respect mate, this kind of advertising your plane isn't very fair on the users you do it to. I'm not trying to attack you, it's just that there's only about 120 gold and platinum users vs several thousand silver and below. We can't really check everything out
@OtterOfToast alright so my original plan was to just use two large intakes hidden in between the wings, and while this reduced the drag by about a thousand points, it also reduced the airflow to the engines a little too much. I added some of the small inlets back, so the drag is nearly the same again, but with far more airflow. This gave it about 100mph more, the best I saw was 1120mph at 35,000ft. Not a huge difference, I'm afraid, but I think this design is approaching its limits without major changes. I did experiment with hiding the outer engines inside the inner ones, but surprisingly it seemed to make no difference. Anyway, here's the version I made
@OtterOfToast I have an idea for the intakes that I'll try out and link you to if it works. Also, to get a clickable link in the description, replace the link you have with:
[Find the craft here](https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/8v367r/X-7-Corporeal-L)
Wings don't cause drag (at least, they don't at zero angle of attack) in SP, but everything else does. The best thing you can do is press the "show drag" button and see which parts are causing the most. Nosecone are probably responsible for a lot of it, so experiment with different lengths to get it as low as possible.
Unfortunately that's not possible, short of Unity mods. Your best option is to try to get the weapon inside the last fuselage part. They're usually okay if the projectile starts inside the part
Replace your links with these to a) fix the italics, b) fix the actual URLs, and c) make them clickable.

@@Csisguy just tried it! It has some odd asymmetries, but mirroring it fixed that. It's a cool little thing, even if it was a quick build.
Main suggestions for improving it are to lose the dead weight in the tail (I know you were trying to get the CoM in a better spot, but dead weight just acts... so weirdly in this game) and reduce the size of the pitch surfaces a little. At the moment, they're causing a bit of unsteadiness under turning.
It's also just cool to see you actually upload something! Haha
Alright, I tried it out, and it had a few issues. I corrected some of them here. Just to be clear, I'm gonna criticise a few things here, but I genuinely mean this only as advice and not an attack.
Your main issues were that you had a load of dead weight in the nose, your CoM and CoL were really far apart, and your pitch control surfaces were waaaaay too big. This made the plane very unstable when under pitch, because it was trying to turn much harder than it was actually capable of. I fixed these things in the one I linked.
Now, when I fix planes on here, I always try to keep the appearance the same. However, if you want to change it, you could do a few other things to further improve the handling.
First off, move the engines a bit closer to the fuselage. At the moment, having such heavy engines so far out is causing a lot of weird roll behaviour. It's kinda like trying to move a door by pushing it near the hinge.
Larger main wings would also help. It doesn't have to be much, but a lower wing loading generally leads to nicer handling.
I hope all this helped, and don't hesitate to ask questions.
Besides AI weirdness, bear in mind that collisions can also happen. But yeah, mine completed the course flawlessly in my tests, whereas in the tournament it would miss a gate on the second hairpin occasionally. AI is difficult.

I don't think I've ever upvoted a plane just on how cool the control surfaces are, but today is the day. Nice tribute to a pioneering user on the game, too.

@CarlosDanger13 right, so when you said "no one sees it", what was that about? It took me 7 months to get gold.
