@DarthAbhinav not for long tho gonn be back at base in 30 min
All i can say is that im in a training facility. Im gonna be a tank specialist in 6 months from now on...A gunner to be exact... I might even attend to Air Force academy after serving or i could attend on incoming september, didnt decide yet
use 8x anti-aliasing and modified FOV when taking pics
they will look better
Congrats on 2 years, my second year anniversary was exactly 16 years ago, wanted to make one myself, but you know, i don't have the time to do anything these days :(
..
..
..
Nice schooner btw :P
@moosefoot
i was wondering all these days
how did you make this plane to fly this realistic
talking about the TVC here
If you could tell me how i'd be grateful
@ChiChiWerx whoah... i had a concept about how to do that but it was hela complex and would require a lot of parts, you've done it with a LOT less parts.
If i saw this sooner i would have done it on my plane but i've already wasted enough time on those gear doors, i don't wanna waste more time on them,
i might feature this on my next aircraft,
Huge thanks!
@BogdanX i don't think that most of platinum users even care about upvotes,
i rarely check anything uploaded by platinums. usually checking lower rank users.
yeah i know those critics XD
, people don't take it well usually when you talk about the cons only
The best way to give critics is
Say the pros about the plane first
then list the cons
even when that build does not have any good things :P
example.
"this looks good (i sometimes say it even if it doesn't, just a nice thing to say)
this/this/that are good.
however this/this/that are not that good
hope you improve those in the next build"
@BogdanX i don't have that much time to work on mobile friendly variants.
I think I'll trust my account to a good friend and i'll let him upload stripped variants of my recend high part builds, also i have finished projects that didn't make it to the website, they will be uploaded too after i'm gone, so the people that follow me still get content from me.
that second sentence tho... sounds like a pretty good discussion topic and i'm bored asf, so let's talk :P
to start off, i disagree...kinda
i kinda because that's not how a fellow platinum or known user should think about the upvote system.
i do not know from where did you get those statistics?
let's not use statistical numbers let's just say words
let's say use "most"
the only way that most user would upvote for pictures, would be when the build itself has really high part count, and that user can not use the said build.
upvotes =/= high quality
there are low qual builds with a lot of upvotes (doesn't mean they don't deserve every single one of those upvotes)
and there are high qual builds with scarce upvotes
upvotes do not qualify the creation.
You should see upvotes as a way to support a user
for example if i see a "poorly" made build that some even like to say "don't deserve anything", i always upvote those, because i think otherwise.
Because that upvote will motivate that user to do better.
Because they are gonna think "my latest plane got 10 upvotes, i have to do better to get more".
not many users have 1000+hours in SP before they created their account (me)
and they can't reach silver with their first upload (also me).#shamelessbragging
that's why you should browse the main page less
and browse "newest aircrafts".
So, where do you agree, and where do you disagree with this ?
we can take the chit-chat to hangouts, haven't talked to you in a while ;)
@Tully2001 how the heck did you submit that comment while dreaming?
XD it takes 5-6 years tho to be liek me
try the scout in 1.6
source is the easiest to play the scout with
@Sarpanitu thank you, it took me over 2-3 days in building time, and i started build over half a year ago, so that's that.
@weebabyseamus thanks a lot, but i'm afraid the F-14 will be my last upload before i leave the community
not to worry it's just the mandatory serving in the army thingie
I should be back in 2 years
would love to see what the 2 year change does to the community and especially the game
@BogdanX yeah i wasn't able to do pretty much anything
past 1600 parts i didn't even test the plane myself
it's not the best flier
thanks for the feedback

@jamesPLANESii
i used Gestour's f-16 mod to make this
It would be harder to panel straight on the 3d model

@BaconRoll i wonder if someone 3d printed my f-16
it would be so fragile
since it's hollow XD
@BaconRoll thank you
@BogdanX basically you test a plane, then decide if it's worth upvoting or not?

@melojam you called me?
@NinjaGamerTR some engines are for details and have no real power
but it shows anyways
@BogdanX i think you can build up to 1500 parts with no lag while having high graphical settings with MACs
i LOVE planes like this
pretty much what i make in SP mainly :3
probably explains why i upload once every 2-3 months XD
@Mod i didn't upload a mirror
@BlazeInfinity i'm jihad lol
@Tessemi same here
